the sun hit my face as my eyes fluttered open. i stretched out my body looking over at the nightstand realizing that this isn't my house. i find my phone and check the time.

10:30 a.m. shit! i'm extremely late!

i bolt out of nate's arms and put on the clothes i had on before.

"where you going?" nate groaned.

"it's monday. i have school and i'm extremely late." before he could say anything, i'm out of the door and on the way to school.

"hey babe." i jump at the sound of his voice.

"oh, hey." i peck his lips quickly and slam my locker shut.

"why so jumpy?" he whispers in my ear.

"it's nothing, don't worry." i send him a reassuring smile.

"you forgot to text me back last night." i mentally slap myself.

"i'm so sorry, babe. i got caught up in some things." i half lie. i did get caught up in some things. things with nate.

sammy was asking me something but the memory of his hands traveling all over my body recur in my head. "um, val?"

"oh, yeah, sorry. what did you ask sammy?" i snap out of my thoughts.

"if i could go over tonight?" i shrug.

"i'll see. "
