Sleeping with Alexander soon became normal. We talked until I fell asleep and even then I knew he talked to me. I woke up once to go to the bathroom and felt myself completely curled into him, his strong arms holding me to his chest. I still hadn't figured out how I could touch him, see him, hear him, or even why he needed sleep. I wasn't sure if it was truly possible to bring the dead back to life. Even if it was, is that what I wanted? I lay awake, not moving in the slightest. I observed his face. He seemed to be in a deep sleep. Carefully, I raised my hand and brushed my fingers along his cheek. His nose twitched and I smiled. That's got to be the cutest thing I've ever seen. I whispered to him, asking him why he loved me. A deep breath was his only reply.

"Ally!" Alexander screamed. "Wha?" I asked sleepily. "Where are your parents?" he asked randomly. "They're staying up in Michigan for a couple weeks to help grandma into a nursing home." I replied, giving him a questionable look. "Well then you have an unexpected visitor." He informed me. I groaned. The clock read 11:45. I swear if it's the FedEx guy again..
I contemplated going back to bed as I stomped down the stairs. "Ally!" A loud shout came from the opened door. I was knocked on my back suddenly, with a girl on top of me. "I missed you so much!" She muttered into my chest. I laughed. "Hey Mykayla." She looked up and smiled her childish smile. "I have come to let you kidnap me." She said with a giggle. "How long?" I groaned, acting annoyed. "Uhh 2-3 weeks." She said. My face dropped. "What? Why? Me too!" I exclaimed. She got up and brushed off her shorts. "Mom's going up to Virginia for a meeting. She told me to either stay with a friend and go to my Aunt Tracy's. You can guess who I picked." She said with a sly grin. I laughed as she helped me up. "Well, if you're not too scared, you'll be great." I teased. She eyed me nervously. "Why would I be scared?" I shook my head and smiled, grabbing her bags. "Come on, let's get you unpacked. We have plenty of guest rooms upstairs." I said. I watched her facial expressions as we passed each part of the house. She switched from being in awe, to amazement, to cautious, and back to being in awe. I wondered what her house looked like. I was sure it wasn't as large as mine, but I liked smaller houses better anyways. We finally made it to a room next to mine, it linked through my walk-in-closet. "Bathrooms there, and that door leads into my closet which leads into my room." I told her, pointing. She nodded and opened one of her bags. My rooms right next door if you wanna go check it out too, I'm gonna go make some bacon. You like bacon, right?" I asked. "Do bears poop in the woods?" She asked, flashing me a beautiful smile. I giggled and made my way downstairs. I was still in my pikatchu pajama pants and a black tank top, but I knew she didn't mind. I began humming to myself as I looked for a skillet. A sudden shriek rang throughout my ears. I rushed upstairs. "Mykayla?! What happened?!" I yelled, taking the steps two at a time. I stopped in my tracks, right behind Mykayla. She was standing in my doorway. "Who are you?" She asked.

My heart stopped as I looked to where she was. Alexander lay on my bed, reading a book peacefully. "Uhm, I can explain. Actually I can't explain. Wait, you can see him?" I shrieked. She stared at me like I was an idiot. "Who is that?" She repeated. I tried to scramble a logical answer when Alexander stood up and walked towards her, his hand outstretched. "My name is Alexander. Alexander LaBate." He smiled triumphantly. Her eyebrows twitched. "Is this a joke? You're kidding me right? Come on, I'm not that blonde." She chuckled, punching Alexander in the arm. He remained still and firm, raising an eyebrow at her. I heard her gulp. "He's not kidding, I thought I was the only one that could see him. This is Alexander, my uh-my friend?" I asked looking at him. "Well, quite a bit more than friends." He chuckled, and I felt my cheeks blush. I watched Mykayla as she tried to process it all. "So what you're saying is that ghosty is real, and y'all are dating?" She asked, throwing a thumbs up at him over her shoulder. "Pretty much." I sigh. She laughs, and it takes me by surprise. "Oh okay, I was just confused. Hey, you start the bacon yet?" She asked. I saw Alexander's jaw drop. I felt mine drop too. "That's it?" I asked. She shrugged. "I'm hungry." With that I walked back downstairs, leaving them in my room.
