I began writing this book exactly six years ago today. Twenty three hazy July days and eighty thousand words later I finished it. Since then, it's sat on my computer collecting whatever the cyber version of dust is.
Well I decided that it has been long enough, so I'm finally going to share it on here. Will be making some edits here and there (cause wow some of the dialogue is a bit... cringy) but for the most part, I'm leaving in its 2019 glory. Not because I think it's perfect but because I die of embarrassment if I try to read over it too closely.
If you're one of my past readers, you'll find that I'm finally stepping outside of Mirkwood, outside the whole world of Tolkien, and doing something original. Hopefully you can still spot my little nods to my roots. ;)
So, that's really all I had to say before we get started. I hope you enjoy and I look forward to finally sharing this story with you all!
