This case file contains several audio recordings and written journal entries regarding the missing person, Dr. Vixian Kilos.
Somewhere outside of Tridōn labs, June 10th, 1988
  Today I found something. A sort of… polarity shift in our plane of reality. This polarity shift seems to be radiating the surrounding ecosystem. Whether the radiated ecosystem is still usable is unknown.

  After extensive research, the ecosystem and plants affected by the polarity shift have been dubbed usable by higher ups. However, it is still unknown whether the radiation affects animals or not.

  I put in a request for funding of a project. A project that will allow me to test the rift more extensively. Using some radiated plant mulch, I'll be opening a rift of my own. The problem being my lack of machinery. They must accept the request.

>#####< Yes, Dr. Kilos, regarding your current… research. We’ve realized after extensive internal affairs… You’re getting let off.
>Dr. Kilos< Wait, what? You can’t fire me! I’ve done nothing but benefit the company!
>#####< What has been said is done. Pack your belongings.

  I'll make due with what I have. I will finish my project.
Dr. Vixian Kilos’s estate, June 30th - August 1st, 1988
  “TEST# 1”
The test subject failed. The mouse exploded within 5 inches of the radiated plant.
Notes: Wear rubber gloves, The mulch tends to stick to skin when held
  “TEST# 4”
Test subject failed. The mouse’s skin boiled on its body.
Notes: Nothing has succeeded yet. Need more mice.
  “TEST# 29”
Wife had her nephew come over today. He interrupted today’s test.
Notes: Pick up all mulch from the floor. I keep slipping on it.
  “TEST# 34”
He slipped, knocking over several containers filled with the mulch.
Notes: It won’t wash off him. He’s complaining he can’t breathe.
  “TEST# 34 CONCLUDED”
Failure. Test subject suffocated due to the mulch. It must be put away for later examination.
Notes: The carcass needs to be frozen.
  “TEST# 40”
After examination, Test subject 34’s cellular structure has been entirely replaced with that of a plant’s cell structure.
Notes: DO NOT TOUCH THE MULCH.
Local news broadcast, 3:30am, August 2nd, 1988
  Local resident, Dr. Vixian Kilos has been reported missing. After a thorough search of his estate, nothing has been found of him besides a pile of mulch on the floor of the estate’s garage. If you have any information regarding Dr. Vixian Kilos please contact Tridōn labs.
