Andun naiwan sa labas, at kinakausap ang HR niya.

*Trevor's heart sinks a little at the mention of Sam's absence. He tries to hide his disappointment and feigns nonchalance.*

"Oh, okay. I'll just wait for her inside then."

*He ushers Sandra into the condo, his mind still preoccupied with thoughts of Sam.*

"Make yourselves at home. You can put your bags in the guest room."

"Salamat. Ayusin ko lang itong gamit namen ni ate. Mamaya na tayo mag kwentuhan " Sandra said and she go upstairs.

*Trevor nods, watching as Sandra disappears into the their room. He leans against the wall, his thoughts racing. He can't help but feel anxious and excited at the thought of Sam coming soon. He checks his watch, wondering how long it would take for her to finish her call.*

*The minutes feel like an hours as he waits for Sam. His mind is filled with anticipation and nervousness.*

*Finally, he hears the sound of footsteps approaching the door, and his heart skips a beat. He quickly opens the door, and there she stands, looking even more beautiful than he remembered.*

"Hi sorry medyo natagalan pakikipag usap ko sa HR"
she says with a tired look at her face. She walked in and sits down on the couch. Her eyes landed on the coffee table and noticed a boquet of flowers.

" Nasan na si Sandra?

Trevor glances at second floor.
"She's in your room, unpacking and fixing your stuff."

He sit down beside her in the couch, his heart still racing from seeing her. He tries to act fool and composed, but he can't help the small smile oh his lips.
" Long day, huh?"

She sighs while rubbing her forehead.
"Yeah, work was hectic, and then pinalipat pa ko ng HR namin ng location. Gusto ko nalang mag collapse sa kama at magpahinga ng ilang araw.

*Trevor can't help but feel sympathy for her.*
"You look tired. Do you want anything? Coffee, water, or maybe something to eat?"

"I want cold black coffee without sugar please, thankyou"

*Trevor nods and gets up from the couch.*
"Sure thing. I'll go make you some."

*He walks into the kitchen and starts preparing the coffee. As he waits for the coffee to brew, he steals glances at her sitting on the couch, noticing the way her hair falls over her face and the way she looks in casual attire. He takes a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.*

*After few minutes, he returns to the living room with a cup of coffee in hand.*

Here you go. Black coffee, no sugar.

*He hands her the cup, their fingers briefly brushing against each other. Trevor feels a jolt of electricity at the contact, but he tries to play it cool.*

"I hope that'll help you relax a bit."

"Yes , nakaka relax, well coffee is my theraphy"

Trevor's chuckles softly, finding it endearing how she describes coffee as her therapy.

"Well, I guess you and I have that  in common. I can't function without my daily caffeine fix either"

She sips the coffee, savoring the flavor, noticing how Trevor observes her, she looks at him.
