One Step At A Time

(Chapter 1) Here We Go

I really think that I am the only person in this class that is actually paying attention other than a few snores and groans from Ma'Chelle hear and there than yea I'm pretty much the only person paying attention. Ma'Chelle is right beside me snoring her head off cause we are in reading and Mr.shenz is one of those teachers that has the worst monotone voice there is. I should wake Ma'Chelle up huh?being the good friend I am of course I will but the most fun way possible!

I raised my hand so I could ask to go to the restroom cause Mr.shenz doesn't really care cause this is like an everyday thing and today is the last day of senier year so I already told him what was going to happen like the smart teacher he is he got the doors of the school unlocked so I could run right out and he got the hall passes ready too just in case we got got by the principal.

"Umm Mr.shenz can I go to the restroom?"I asked ready to get up.

"She's asleep already?"he asked a little confused.i would be a little confused too cause Ma'Chelle never falls asleep this early.

"Yes now can I go to the restroom so I can get this over with?"I asked already getting to the door.

"Make it quick and if u do get stopped by Mrs.nissa please don't tell her I was in on this also!"he asked

I nodded my head and went straight to the bathroom.once I got there I turned the faucet on and filled my hand with water than I turned it off and went back to the classroom of course Mr.shenz already had the door open cause he didn't need another broken down door from last time I did this.

"Everybody ready?"I whispered quietly so Ma'Chelle couldn't hear me.

They all nodded and one the bell rang for the end of the day I slung the water out of my hand and onto her face and let me tell you that water was cold.as her eyes shot open and she sat straight up that I was sure she was gonna give herself a whiplash and of course the look on her face made me topple over in laughter!

"TRINITY!!!!"she screamed at the top of her lungs that she made me realize that I had to start running out the door which I did and she followed right on my heels.

"TRINTY GET BACK HERE!!"she screamed from behind.of course me being the clumsy person I am I bumbed right into someone on the way out to my car and that person just had to be Mrs.nissa our principal.

"What are you doing Trinity?"she asked a scowl on her face.

"Um..um..um here's my pass I have to go before that cheetah catches me!"I stuttered and pointed at Ma'Chelle and running out the door.

I heard Mrs.nissa talk to Ma'Chelle about running in the halls and Ma'Chelle being Ma'Chelle didn't listen and ran off with a confused looking Mrs.nissa behind her.

I finally go through the doors and into my car about to speed away but some teacher had to be in front of my car of course me being me honked at him to move but luck has not been with me these days so I told him to move cause he was on his phone and he moved thankfully and I zoomed away like the wind in a snowstorm.

Of course Ma'Chelle followed me to my house and once I parked my car and got out as fast as I can I ran inside and went to hide In my room.

"Trinty I know your here!"she sang probably to make me laugh and give away my hiding place but I bit down on my tongue to keep from laughing.

I heard footsteps on the stairs and hid under my bed.she must've heard me cause right when I got situated the door opened to reveal a very angry looking Ma'Chelle.

"Trinty?"she sang again.

She walked over to one side of my bed and as she did as quietly and quickly as I could I slid out from under - neath the other side and hurried to the door just as I was about to go out the door she surprised me by jumping on my back until we were both on the floor and she sat on me so I wouldn't move and was on the ground not being able to move.

"Get off me!"I almost yelled but kept a straight voice filled with annoyance and humer.

"Nope."She said popping the p.

"If you don't get off of me in three seconds than I guess I will have to eat all those cookies downstairs by myself!"I looked up at her and she was pouting like a little kid and I had a smirk on my face as she got up off of me.

"Fine."she muttered but she knew I could hear her.

"Come on."I said grabbing her arm and pulling her down the stairs into the kitchen wear we were going to make sandwiches.

We made it down there and she took a seat in the twisty chairs by the counter while I took out the ingredients for our sandwiches.than my mom walked through the door.

"Hi baby,hi Ma'Chelle!"she said as she came through the door and set her keys on the table.

"Hi mom."I greeted her.

"Hi Gwen."Ma'Chelle greeted her.

"I'll be in my room girls call me if you need me and no more food fights in the kitchen!"she said as she went up the stairs to her room.

"Man. I was looking forward to that!"I said as I opened the pickle jar and glanced over at Ma'Chelle to see what she was doing.

She was staring at the wall thinking and had a wide goofy grin plastered on her face as she turned over to me.

"What?"I asked a little creeped out by her expression.

"ROADTRIP!!!"she screamed.
