Blake has never been truly apart from his mother. He'd cling to her when she's shopping for groceries. He'd be the one chopping onions whilst his mother stirred the stew. His mother has always kept a watchful eye on him.
So, he finds himself in a dilemma.
He had just purchased an apartment closer to the college that he had just been accepted into. It wasn't big, nor was it small. It's quaint and crisp. It seemed.. perfect.
But, he's nervous. After all, who wouldn't be? After years of his life, he has now parted from his mother, whom he had relied on heavily. Drifting.. navigating alone in an ocean of anxiety and loneliness as sharks circled his fragile raft crafted from determination and sheer will.
