At 3:00 AM in the streets of New New York, young Ocaria was traveling outside for a night stroll. Her pink irises stood out from the black scleras on her face and her bright pink hair glowed in the moonlight. She then heard a strange sound.
"What was that?" she thought to herself. Ocaria used her super hearing to find out that the sound was coming from an alleyway. She kneeled down and moved behind a dumpster. Ocaria would then use her night vision to find out what made the sound. She saw that is was a silver-colored robot with neon yellow eyes and metal wings that could cut into metal.
"What kind of robot is this?" she would ask herself. She observed further to observe the robot more. The robot seemed to be waiting for something by its body language but she didn't know what. Its left pupil appeared to be replaced with a three-pronged symbol and it let out a dissatisfied sigh.
"Dang it! The moment I get out of my disguise is the moment I get noticed by a weird organism." the robot grumbled. It spoke with a male voice.
"Guess I better leave." he said, flying off quickly.
"What's with that robot? What does that symbol mean?" Ocaria asked herself. She used her cat speed to run away from the scene and get back to her cat house. She transforms into a small, pink cat-like being with eight octopus-like tentacles and went to sleep.
(The Next Day...)
Ocaria wakes up from her sleep after her night of a sighting of a strange robot. She didn't know it's intentions nor its general function. She comes out of her cat house and turns into her normal human form. She then pondered on who to help her solve this robo-mystery.
"Who would know about odd types of robots?" Ocaria asked herself until it popped into her head.
"Pearl, duh. She's always been a big fan of technology." she said to herself. She then got out her cellphone and dialed Pearl's phone number, to which Pearl's answered.
"Hello, Pearl speaking." Pearl said.
"Hi, Ocaria here. I was wondering if you could help me solve a robo-mystery." Ocaria said.
"Sure. Where do we meet?" Pearl asked.
"Planet Express Headquarters." Ocaria said. "Meet me there in 10."
"I'll be there." Pearl said, hanging up her phone. Ocaria herself teleported to the entrance of the Planet Express Headquarters.
(Meanwhile, with Pearl)
Pearl was running through her room like a wild animal, packed all of her inventions, notebooks and even her personal stuff in her portal backpack. She grabbed a strawberry muffin and ran to Planet Express Headquarters as soon as possible.
(At Planet Express Headquarters)
Ocaria was waiting for Pearl to show up to solve the robo-mystery with her. Ocaria saw a moving white bolt made out of pure electrical energy and after the bolt stopped moving, it revealed to be a white haired girl with eyes like Ocaria's but instead of pink, she had white irises.
"Hey, you said you wanted help solving a robo-mystery?" she asked.
"Yeah. Just look into last night's memories. Specifically during 3:00AM." Ocaria spoke. Pearl shivered at this statement a bit, mainly due to the time mentioned. Pearl then put her right hand on Ocaria's forehead and saw what happened last night through Ocaria's eyes, including the strange robot leaving. After that, Pearl had a shocked yet curious expression on her face.
"Listen up, Ocaria, because here is what I take from this strange robot." Pearl said. "The silver coloration, neon yellow eyes and metal wings were often called indicators for what Cat-eddit people call 'space bots'. They were given the rep of being vicious robots who either A) Kill for survival, B) Kill because they love to or C) They are forced to by an outside force. As for the symbol appearing in his left eye, it could be some otherworldly program making itself known through some cues."
"But... what kind of program is it?" Ocaria asked.
"I don't know but there is someone in the Headquarters who might." Pearl replied.
"Who, exactly?" Ocaria inquired.
"Fumiko. She's the detective of the crew and she's seen a lot of things and knows what most of them are." Pearl said.
"But how? We can't just go inside and interrogate their detective without their consent!" Ocaria meowed scornfully. Pearl turned Ocaria's head to a NOW HIRING sign.
"Be glad, Ocaria. Because we won't have to." she said.
And so, the robo-mystery solving begins.
