I walked into my house realising my mom wasn't home yet, since her car was not in the driveway
Letting out a breath I kicked my shoes off and walked upstairs into my room
Recalling the recent events from tonight, a smile spread across my face
The Bryce James kissed me!!! I let out a squeal as I plopped onto my vanity chair spinning it around
My cheeks started to hurt due to how hard I was smiling
I let out a groan "ugh, I need a shower" I said to myself walking into my bathroom turning on the shower faucet
As I walked back into my room, I heard my phone buzz
I picked it up seeing a text from Bryce
It was a simple "hey" but my heart still skipped a few beats overthinking my response back
Eventually I responded back copying his "hey" and sending an attachment of when we were kids, which I found during my ride back home

I bit my lip, pressing on the FaceTime icon allowing it to ring a few times before he answered
"Hey" I answered seeing his face pop up on my screen, making me completely forget about the shower I had just turned on
"I meant when can i see you in real life, while we were still on break" he said chuckling lightly
"Oh" I said as my cheeks turned red from embarrassment
I cleared my throat "so where do you want to go?"
"I don't know, ummm, fairfax?" He responded
"Cool" I said spinning around in my chair once again
"Cool, when?"
"Tomorrow?" I suggested way too quickly making me internally cuss myself out
"Sure" he said with a small laugh
"So do you like ramen?" He asked
"I used to, until I used to eat it all the time as an after school snack"
"Damn, who eats ramen as a snack?" He questioned as he laughed
"Me and what are gonna do about it?" I asked with a slight eye roll
He continued to laugh making me let out a breath "why are you asking about ramen?"
"Well, I was wondering if we could get some tomorrow, but since you don't like it, we don't have to"
"Umm well, I don't usually go out for ramen but I'm sure I'll allow it just for tomorrow" I said as a small smile crept up onto his face
"Uhh alright cool, and the only reason I brought up ramen, is because me and my little sister eat it almost everyday while watching Naruto" he said making my eyes go wide
"You watch that show?!!" I exclaimed as a laugh slipped out
"What you got a problem with that?" He asked slightly bucking at the camera
"No, I don't have anything against it, I just can't get into it at all, but my little cousin watches it all the time"
"Shittt, if you don't like Naruto I'm gon' have to just cut you off right now" he said with a straight face making my jaw drop in a mock
"Oh come on" I said with a chuckle
"So what are you into, anime, art, dance..." he trailed off waiting for an answer
"Well, I really enjoy art and binge-watching all the 2000s romantic films with my mom and track as you already know" I said with a shrug as I set my phone against my mirror
"Oh that's wassup, but I still can't forgive you about that Naruto thing though" he said as he shook his head playfully in a disappointing way
"Oh my gosh Bryce" I said with a laugh
"So you don't watch any anime?" He asked making me shake my head
"Ohh, i do play Roblox and Sims a lot" I said looking at him through the screen
"Aight now that I can get into" he said as he nodded his head with a satisfied hum making me let out a soft laugh
A few seconds went by, before I remembered that the shower water was running making my eyes go wide
"I'll see you tomorrow Bryce, I'm going get in the shower right now, I forgot I left the water running"
"Alright, I'll see you tomorrow Satori, don't drown in the shower" he said with a grin making me laugh as I hung up the phone
I quickly made my way into my bathroom, undressing and getting into the shower allowing the hot water to hit my skin as I let out a sigh finally relaxing
