Father Way led me to the church and handed me a cup of coffee. It's black just in case your wondering. It didn't really matter at this point my desperation got the best of me and I took the cup from his hand. There was absolutely nowhere in the entirety of Sugar Crest where students could buy coffee, the market here is full of wilted lettuce and stationary. And obviously the only day we can leave is Saturday.
Thanks Father Way. He chuckled obviously seeing that this cup of lukewarm coffee was possibly the best gift I have ever been given. Honey, call me Gerard. Gerard, it suited him, much better than Father Way. We both stepped in the church doors at the same time him leading me into his office for a "briefing" as he called it.
You are going to sit here and we are going to get to know each other. WHAT! Since when has getting to know someone been a punishment that isn't exactly what I thought he would come up with. Hell almost every girl at this school would very literally kill to be in my position.
