Code Names

I was starting to have a crush on this boy and I wanted to tell my friends but if we were going to talk about him in the future I needed to give him a code name. I came up with the code name "Nochalant". I don't know how I came up with such a name but it worked. I told my friends and we all laughed about it and agreed to use the name. But then I started to notice something. Over the next few days, my crush became really nonchalant. He's usually very energetic but lately he's seemed pretty laid back. I started to wonder about the code name I made. Did it somehow effect him? How would that be possible though? He didn't even know about any of this. I decided to tell my friends about it. They thought that I was "probably overthinking it" and maybe my crush was just "tired or something". I waited a few days but my curiosity couldn't take it anymore. I told my friends i wanted to change the code name. At first they were confused but they went along with it. I changed the name to "Happy". Again, I really don't know how I came up with these names I had just let my creativity shine. After I chose the new name, I waited. Every time I saw him he always had a smile on his face. I was starting to think this was more than just a coincidence. Just a few days before he always had on his "resting face". Every day since I changed the name, I hadn't seen him mad for even one minute. He seemed super bubbly all the time. I finally realized that my assumptions were true. Every code name I gave my crush changed how he acted. Maybe I can use this new power to get him to like me back. Or maybe, he already does....
