"Obvious how?" Coco shot back, wiping under her eyes with the edge of her sleeve.

"Obvious in the fact that it clearly isn't my fault!" Maddie snapped.

Emma leaned forward. "Your mom's the one who's been after our dad for the past year!"

"Yeah," Maddie countered, "but your dad's the one who's dumb enough to fall for my mom!"

The three girls paused, slowly turning their heads toward Francisco, who was now sniffing Ursula's hair like it was made of roses and glitter.

Coco blinked. "Okay... I have to give you that one."

"But..." she added, "this makes no sense. Yesterday, he was mowing the lawn at night just to avoid 'accidentally' running into your mom."

Maddie gasped. "It's like somebody cast a spell on him or something!" Her eyes narrowed as she turned sharply. "Wait! Did you two get your powers back and not tell me?"

Coco's eyes widened. "No... but Andi said you did."

Maddie hesitated. "Sort of. It's complicated. But I didn't do this."

Emma nodded firmly. "Okay, we believe you."

Coco exhaled, her voice steady. "We just need to figure out how this happened so we can stop it. We all don't want to be sisters."

Maddie shuddered. "Literally my worst nightmare."

Emma leaned in. "So, are we doing this together?"

The three girls looked at each other. They may have been magical rivals or reluctant allies, but at that moment, they were united by a single terrifying reality:

Their parents were in love.
And the wedding was coming fast.

"Agreed?" Coco asked.

Maddie sighed, then extended her hand. "Agreed."

Emma placed hers on top. "Agreed."

The deal was sealed. Operation Break Up the Grown-Ups had officially begun.
