Kang Myung-soo's POV

When Kang Myung-soo opened the mail that morning, he was not expecting an invitation printed on thick, gold-embossed cardstock.
He tilted his head, still brushing his teeth, toothpaste foam threatening to drip on the envelope.

"Art & Heart – A Charity Evening in Support of Creative Youth"
Black tie.
Fancy lighting.
Canapés and celebrities.

He blinked. "Why the hell would they want me?"

"Hyung! You got mail again from that wedding company—OH WAIT, IS THIS REAL GOLD?!"
Chan-woo's voice echoed through the apartment as he burst into Myung-soo's room, waving another envelope.

"I'm brushing my teeth, you menace!" Myung-soo half-choked, trying not to laugh and spit toothpaste on the expensive invite. "And that's my mail!"

"You get invited to black-tie events now? Damn, photography really is the influencer lifestyle," Chan-woo said, flopping onto the bed like he owned it.

"It's for a charity event," Myung-soo muttered, reading the fine print. "Wait... wait, they want me to be the official photographer."

"Oh." Chan-woo frowned. "That makes way more sense."

Two hours later, Myung-soo was perched on a squeaky chair at Min-jae's dog café, Bark & Bean, sipping an overly sweet strawberry latte while dogs ran under his feet.

His four best friends were gathered around the table, and like always—it was pure chaos.

"I'm telling you, you have to wear a suit. Like a real one. Tailored." Hae-jin, who looked like a walking fashion editorial even in a hoodie, stirred his iced americano like it had wronged him.

"I own a blazer," Myung-soo said defensively.

"You mean the one you wore to your cousin's middle school graduation?!" Ji-won laughed, nearly spilling his drink.

"Don't shame my memories!"

Min-jae plopped down beside them with a tray of dog-shaped cookies. "I heard there's gonna be celebrities there. Maybe someone hot. Maybe an idol!"

"Ew," Hae-jin muttered. "You just want gossip."

"I want pictures," Min-jae corrected. "And maybe the Instagram of a handsome actor."

"Speaking of pictures—are you actually doing this event?" Ji-won asked.

Myung-soo shrugged. "I guess. I mean, they asked, and they're paying. Besides, it's for a good cause. Art programs for kids."

Chan-woo grinned. "Are you doing it for the kids or the free champagne?"

"Can it be both?"

They all groaned.

"Please don't get tipsy and cry in front of fancy people again," Hae-jin muttered. "It was cute once. Not again."

"I cry when I feel deeply!" Myung-soo whined.

"And you feel deeply about everything," Ji-won shot back.

"I do not!"

"You cried when that kid hugged his dog on TV," Chan-woo deadpanned.

"That dog had been lost for three days!" Myung-soo protested. "He thought he'd never see it again!"

Min-jae cackled. "Our Myung Puppy is too soft for this world."

And as the five of them erupted into laughter and teasing, Myung-soo just smiled into his latte. He wouldn't trade this chaos for anything.

Oscar Piastri's POV

Oscar stared at the event schedule his manager slid across the table like it was a death sentence.

"What is this?" he asked flatly.

"A charity gala in Seoul. It's a good opportunity for visibility in the Asian market," his manager replied, far too cheerfully for Oscar's liking.

"I'm a driver, not a red carpet ornament."

His manager didn't even blink. "It's a charity event. Arts and kids. Harmless, easy, you just smile for a few photos and maybe say something supportive if a mic gets shoved in your face."

"I'm not going."

"You don't have a choice."

Oscar blinked. "Excuse me?"

"You're not racing for two weeks, your media obligations are minimal, and this will make your sponsors very happy. Also, it's on a Saturday night. What else would you be doing?"

"Sleeping."

"Well, now you'll be sleeping in a tailored suit."

Oscar sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Who's even going to be there?"

"A lot of local creatives. Artists, performers, influencers. Maybe a few actors."

"So, people who have nothing to do with motorsport."

"Exactly," his manager said brightly. "Think of it as a vacation. With cameras."

Oscar leaned back in his chair and stared at the ceiling, contemplating every life choice that had brought him to this point.

He already hated this event.
