This fanfic will mostly be in third person unless stated otherwise, but other than that I hope everyone likes it and has a good time, have fun reading my blueberries.
Power Loader had come into Nezu's office a while ago to present a new satellite he created. It was originally meant to help monitor the school, but he got carried away—now it also tracks Earth's rotation and temperature, and provides up-to-date images of the entire world.
Nezu had already connected it to his test computer—not his office computer. He'd made that mistake once before, and, well... he ended up needing a new one. As he waited for the upload to finish, he turned his beady eyes to his employee. 'So, you say this is to help with security?' he asked.
The teacher nodded. "With all the villain attacks we've had this year, I figured I'd make something that could alert you to unknown entries anywhere around the school—not just at the front gates," he said, leaning back into the couch, which was surprisingly comfortable.
Nezu nods as he looks back at his computer. "Yes, that would be helpful," he says, watching the screens. "It seems the world is about to undergo a major change—not just from the attacks, but in education as well. It looks like we'll have to be a little more rough with this batch of students," he adds, glancing back at Power Loader.
Even though the teacher's face is covered by a mask, you can still see him wince. "It seems so," he says as he sits up. Nezu perks up as the file finishes loading. "Ah, here we go," he says, opening the drive. Power Loader gets up and walks over to the computer as well, wanting to make sure everything is running smoothly.
"I gave it more upgrades than necessary, but figured you'd appreciate it," he says, pointing to the tab on the side. "If you click that, you'll get a live feed of the school grounds." Nezu clicks the tab, watching as an image of the school appears on the screen. He grins as he sees his students roaming around the dorm campus and walking to and from the training gym. "Yes, this is quite helpful indeed," he says. "You mentioned you added more?" he asks, leaning back.
Power Loader nods. "I modified it so you can monitor the Earth's rotation and temperature. It also functions like a maps app—except with live, constantly updated images," he explains, zooming out to reveal the entirety of Japan. Nezu grins wider as he sips his tea—where it came from, no one questions. "Yes, this is intriguing," he says, eyes fixed on the image.
Nezu smirks as he glances at his screen—until his eyes catch sight of a rather large island. "What is that there?" he asks, setting his tea down and zooming in slightly on the landmass. "That wasn't there yesterday," Power Loader mutters, trying to zoom in further. "Strange..." he says, refreshing the image. "It won't let me get a clear view of it," he adds, standing up with a furrowed brow.
Nezu grins before letting out an almost evil cackle. "Looks to me like it's a learning experience," he says, sipping his tea, eyes gleaming with excitement. Power Loader shivers slightly. "Yes, I'll send out the field trip email now. Oh, this will be exciting," Nezu says as he rolls his chair over to his office computer. His wide smile never fades as he begins typing furiously.
