This is not a love story for the faint of heart.
This is for the ones who find beauty in scars.
For the ones who know that sometimes the strongest hearts beat inside the most broken chests.

Ruin Me Softly is a story about survival, pain, and the kind of love that doesn't heal you — it burns you down to your bones and builds you back up stronger.

Welcome to the darkness.
You've been warned.

Author's Note

When I started writing Ruin Me Softly, I didn't set out to create a perfect love story. I wanted to write about the kind of love that bleeds. That bruises and rebuilds. That doesn't always save you — but sees you.

Sable and Maddox aren't flawless. They're messy, wounded, and full of rage and ache. But through each other, they find something that looks a little like peace... and a lot like home.

This story deals with darkness — trauma, fear, survival — but I hope you'll also find beauty in the quiet strength of healing. In the trust that grows slowly. In the fire that doesn't just destroy — but purifies.

To anyone who's ever run from something and fought to become someone — this one is for you.

Thank you for letting me share this world with you.
I hope it wrecks you a little. And I hope it puts you back together too, like it did me.

With love.
