The Night That Changed Everything

CHAPTER 1 MESSLIA

  I was heartbroken. I 6 would be too if your boyfriend of 4 years cheated on you with your sister. I'm finally back home. I check the living room. I don't see Levi, so I call out "Levi, where are you?" I don't hear a response. I assume he's asleep, so I open the cabinet and grab a glass. Then, I open the freezer to grab some ice. But then I see him,his body bloody battered and dead in my freeze. I scream, dropping to my knees sobbing. He's dead. I have to be hallucinating, right? I pick up my phone. I call my mom, and it rings twice. Then she picks up "mom" I cry. "Yes honey, what is it? What's wrong? Why  are you crying." I try to speak, but I choke on my words."mom, he's dead." Silence, but before my mom can answer, I hear a laugh, but it's not normal it's a chilling, uneasy mocking laugh. I look out my window, then I see her. A young girl, my age holding his head covered in blood knife in hand. I decided it's best to hang up on my mom. I call 911. "911, what's your emergency."Someone killed my boyfriend she's outside my house." I choke out through the tears. "OK ma'am, please stay calm. What's your address." Stay calm I think how can I stay calm there's a fucking killer outside my house and the love of my life is dead but I respond differently . "277 Johansen street." OK ma'am help is on the way please stay on the line." I listen but don't respond instead I reach up grabbing the knife off my counter terrified not only for me but for Levi's soul. Actually, never mind, he's probably rotting in hell . Where else would he be he's a cheater. But then I hear it a recording. I hear him begging for mercy crying out in pain . I hear her sadistic laugh, then the gushing sound of her knife penatrating his skin, the scraping sound of the knife against his bones. I almost vomit in uneasy, but she's laughing like she enjoys it.
