The missing link (Steven universe x reader)

Chapter 22

(Garnets pov)

I have been staying my room cheering that Stevens back but every time I try to talk to Steven he is always clutching his gem and not talking. But today when I walk in to Stevens room he was gone so was pearl and amethyst.

I run out of the temple and run all around beach city but I can't find anyone. I start to freak out then I run to the car wash that Greg owns I run up to him and say "have you seen Steven or the gems tonight" Greg wakes up very slowly and shakes his head while he scratches the back of his neck.
"Sorry garnet I don't know where they are and Steven should be sleeping."  I bow my head and say "thank you Greg and if you find Steven please come and find me but If you really want to you can come with me to try and find him" Greg runs off into his van and puts on a black shirt with a yellow star on the front of it.

I remember the first time I saw him in this shirt I was about to throw him to the other side of the fence but rose stopped me. I shake my head and snap back to realty. We start to run all over town well I run and I carry him while he searches we run past a cliff and Greg freaks out and jumps out of my grip and points up to a cliff side and I see Steven hanging from pearls grip squirming trying to get away from the edge as pearl is holding him over the edge.

I say to Greg "stay here under where Steven might fall just stay here no matter what Greg" I turn to him and he nods and keeps his eyes on Steven. I run up the cliff and grab Steven and jump off and give him to Greg then I jump up to where pearl is and yell "WHAT THE HELL WAS AT PEARL?!"

"It's not what it looks like Steven was trying to jump off"

"YEA TO GET AWAY FROM YOU PEARL YOU WHERE ABOUT TO DROP HIM"

"No no no it's not like th-"

Her sentence Is cut off by my gauntlet connecting with her gut I then band down and upper cut her so she falls off the cliff she lands near Greg I walk up to her and say to Greg "she was trying to kill your son Greg she was trying to kill half of rose" Greg just stands there with Steven in his arms then Steven yells "garnet pearl stop it stop fighting" I look at Greg and say "get away from here" then I look back at pearl and say "it's going to get messy"
