Silent Paws, Loud Heart

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you a fan fiction story I made up myself. This fan fiction story is something I have been planning to do for a while and it was some challenging work on doing this and I had fun writing this, I hope you will enjoy the story, now onto the story.

This write-up is on my friend from high school who has been my friend since my childhood days to senior year and she has cared for me and all her other friends and now we hadn't chat with each other since August of 2023 after graduating from West Brunswick High School in Shallotte, North Carolina, this is a write-up on my friend from childhood named Leslie Lopez Cruz and it is referred to some drawings I done of her and as I dedicate this story to my fellow friend and the rest of the project search students of 2022-2023, including myself and the job coaches, I'm please to share that we had a wonderful experience and we appreciate everything that they have done for us, I love Leslie very much and she was always nice and made me feel welcome into her friendship that we had during childhood, we had fun together in Elementary, Middle, and High school and in the project search program.

What is project search about? Project Search is something for seniors in high school with any type of disability who come in and get the life experience of what and how getting a job is like and how it is set up for your future. Whether you go to college or not, you can still be successful regardless of if you went to college or not, in our case was in the hospital.

April 12, 2023: It was a beautiful morning, and the students, Me, Jahiem, Jaden, Jasec, Jacob, Tyvon, Leslie, and Megan were getting dropped off at the hospital, the class headed to the classroom, they were chilling once they got in. It was 9:00 in the morning and Ms. Buie was teaching the students about money and finance in our bank accounts, Leslie raised her hand to ask a question "If there is something up with your bank account, what do you have to do about it? Like what if your account gets blocked or hacked into something?", After she asked her question, Mrs. Buie answered it in a way that the students could understand it more "So first, if you noticed some suspicious activity on your bank statements or anything like that, then that's considered to be fraud and somebody has gotten your bank information and you have been hacked." everyone looked at each other in surprise, Me and Jahiem looked at each other and they were shocked out of the whole class, but Mrs. Buie continued what she was saying "And as for the second part of Leslie's question, it's a source of hacking information from somebody's account." By the time Mrs. Buie was done explaining how the process goes, it was time to go to work for the students, Leslie passed out the lunch cards for me, herself, Jahiem, Jacob, Jesac, Jaden, Megan, and Tyvon.

It was time for the students had headed to their stations at 9:35 in the morning, I was in the supply chain, Megan was in the lab, Jacob was working in EVS, Tyvon and Jesac was working in the , Jaden was working in guest services, Jahiem was working in surgical for the third time in a row, and Leslie was working in the lunchroom, Mrs. Buie and the students went to pick up their lunch, they each saw Leslie in the lunchroom helping the workers prepare the food, Me and Jahiem, and Jaden went to pick up our lunches first, we each saw Leslie and Mrs. Buie getting their lunch as well, the other students start to come over and get their lunch, I asked Leslie "So, you want to see another drawing of yourself, huh Leslie?" Leslie looked at me with a confused look on her face, but it later went to a smile as she responded. "Sure, you can draw me again if you want to, I might like a drawing of a wolf." Me and Mrs. Buie looked at each other, wondering how I was going to do a picture of a wolf, I didn't know how she wanted me to do it and I didn't know if she wanted a transformation drawing or a regular drawing of wolf. Leslie looked back at me with a look on her face I had never seen before "I want a regular drawing of a wolf." I have never had Leslie request a drawing before, I know I did some drawings of her getting slimed a few times and still had the first picture I did on the front of her binder, when we got back to the classroom, we ate our lunch.
