CHAPTER 16
Lyra and Aria journeyed through treacherous landscapes, avoiding danger at every turn. They knew that Kael and Arcturus would stop at nothing to achieve their goal, and they had to be careful.
As they navigated through a dense forest, they stumbled upon a mysterious figure. He was tall, with piercing green eyes and jet-black hair. He seemed to appear out of nowhere, and Lyra felt a shiver run down her spine.
"Who are you?" Aria asked, her voice firm.
The stranger smiled, a hint of mischief in his eyes. "My name is Eryndor," he said. "And I'm here to help you."
Lyra raised an eyebrow. "Why would you help us?" she asked.
Eryndor's smile grew wider. "Let's just say I have my reasons," he said. "Reasons that align with your goals. I'm against Kael and Arcturus's plans, and I'd like to see them stopped."
Aria narrowed her eyes. "What do you know about their plans?" she asked.
Eryndor's expression turned serious. "I know enough," he said. "I've been watching them from the shadows. And I think I can help you stop them."
Lyra exchanged a skeptical glance with Aria. Could they trust this stranger? But something about Eryndor's words resonated with her. Maybe they did need his help.
"What do you propose?" Lyra asked.
Eryndor's smile returned. "Let's work together," he said. "Together, we can stop Kael and Arcturus and save the world."
Aria nodded, a determined look on her face. "Alright, let's do it."
And with that, the unlikely trio set off on their mission to stop Kael and Arcturus. Lyra couldn't help but wonder what lay ahead, but with Eryndor by their side, she felt a glimmer of hope.
