Astro enters the room in a haste, he heard looey screaming from afar. He sees looey standing there in shock, unable to move. Astro pushes him aside and grabs a pocket knife from his blanket. He cuts the rope and the body falls on the desk, astro throws his blanket and uses his four hands to Resuscitate Rodger, after minutes that felt like hours Rodger wakes up.
"YOU IDIOT, YOU REALLY THINK KILLING YOURSELF IS A GOOD OPTION? THINK, RODGER,THINK!"
Astro starts crying,he doesn't want to lose more people he cares about, he slaps Rodger a few times until he's wide awake, rodger groans but doesn't say anything. Astro stands up and helps Rodger on his feet,he wipes his tears and sniffles a bit. He looks at Rodger.
"You're important Rodger,I know you miss your daughter. I get that,but this.. this is just outright insane."
Rodger nods and apologizes softly, staring at the ground, too scared to face astro in the eyes. Looey stands at the doorway still traumatized,he tries calming himself down. He's kind of jealous? He doesn't know why.. seeing astro calming Rodger down makes him feel weird from inside. He's clearly distressed too,but no one is checking up on him. He knows that Rodger is more important than him In This situation but, it just seems unfair. He hugs himself with his tail, trying to calm down. When he relaxes he walks to astro to help,they both bring Rodger to the main room and sets him on the couch. Everyone looks shocked,they know Rodger was griefing the death of his daughter,but they wouldn't know that he'll take it that far. Everyone approaches him to check. Everyone says nice things to him saying 'it'll be okay' or 'we are Here for you' makes looey jealous again,he tries pushing those thoughts aside. He thinks he's selfish for thinking that, rodger deserves it more than him.
Later that day everyone stayed by Rodger's side, looey was helping Cosmo bring the food they had found somewhere in the building and they start handing it to everyone, looey grabs his own piece but astro stops him
"I think rodger would appreciate it if you gave that to him"
Looey's eyes widen, that's true! He will appreciate it,and if he does give it he'll get praised. Surely he will! He smiles and nods, giving the piece to astro. Astro grabs it and approaches Rodger without saying a word. Surely he'll thank looey after right? Looey stands there awkwardly. Waiting. But he gets nothing,he probably forgot to thank him. Maybe he should ask
"Hehe.. I think you forgot to say something"
Astro looks at him in confusion and shrugs it off, looey stands there,wow. That's it? No! Appreciate it,looey. Don't be a selfish brat that only wants it get praised by everything they do. Looey nods to himself and leaves the room. Maybe it wasn't Astro's day, maybe astro is still shocked after what happened,that might be it! Yes! He does appreciate Astro's help, he's just still traumatized by what happened earlier toda- his stomach growls, he's Hungry. He gave that piece away, probably the only piece he could've had for this week, he can't starve. His stomach growls again, maybe his secret stash! He runs towards his room,a bit weakly. He looks under the bed and grabs a small box, he opens it only to find nothing, a small note.
"Everyone is supposed to survive looey,this isn't about you- Astro"
Ah ofcourse.. you selfish prick,of course you can't keep anything for yourself,not in this situation, that's so selfish of you looey. Looey smiles, at least he helped a bunch of different people with that stash, instead of him. He was on his bed,it was exactly 4:38 am. He couldn't sleep, he's Hungry. He doesn't know what to do,and is too scared to ask Cosmo for something,he saw how exhausted Cosmo was finding those pieces of food with him earlier,he doesn't want to bother him. But he's still hungry, he stands up and opens his door,there must be some leftovers? He walks down the dark hallway, it was eerily quiet. He opens a storage room to look for something to eat,or drink. He sees a mouse trap with a dead mouse in it, disgusting,but yet, he's still hungry. He approaches the dead animal, his brain is blurred,he can't think straight. He grabs the dead Mouse, it's lifeless body dangling on looey's hand,looey opens his mouth and takes a bite. The storage room fills with sounds of biting and swallowing, sometimes a grunt of disgust.
The next day was amazing! He felt better, not Hungry. No sad feelings,he felt great. Rodger was doing better too! He wakes up. His room was spinning,looey wakes up with a huge headache. He throws up on the floor,he starts crying. Why? I've I didn't given that piece, this would've never happened. He felt disgusted.
He enters the main room, eveyone was still surrounding Rodger, helping him with everything. Looey sighs in relief,he's happy that Rodger is getting taken care off. He's glad rodger is getting attention, the attention he also desires so much. He was a bit of an outcast, his only Friends being Yatta and poppy. Even before the lockdown Nobody really batted an eye on him. Even SHELLY got more attention than him, he was happy for her! Of course he was.. but it's just. Nevermind. He doesn't know how to explain his feelings,he knows he should be getting treated equally like the others,but he doesn't have the courage to say it. He had a diary,he wrote about his feelings. He even put it on a table for everyone to read,for everyone to see and feel like how he feels,but after a week. No one even touched his diary, leading him to burn it. Maybe it's his jokes that make people dislike him? Maybe his looks? Why? He suddenly gets an idea, rodger got attention after trying to commit. Maybe he sho-
He stands in his room, rope in hand. This is stupid, very stupid,he knows that. But he can't stop himself. He just wants to be seen. To get noticed by somebody, this is his only chance to get the attention he truly desires,he knows there are different ways,but this is the only thing his mind can think of now. He climbs on the chair,he knows he won't die, he has hope somebody will enter his room in time,Yatta! Or poppy! They like him, they'll probably show up. Or even the other toons. He puts the rope on his neck,woah. This feel Unreal. He smiles, hoping it'll work. He lets the chair fall and starts hanging,he immediately regrets his choices,he swings around trying to break free. It doesn't work, but he knows somebody will enter. He stares at the door, waiting, waiting. But no one comes, no one. Not even Yatta or poppy, he finally realises that nobody will come and save him like how he saved Rodger just in time, but at least he helped his friends until the very end. He hopes they'll find dandy and get Gardenview back on track. He stares at the door one more time as his vision fades.
