"Lewis! What the hell are you doing on top of Josie?! And why are you two up so late?!"
Feelings of fear and guilt filled me up- but most of all. Embarrassment.
I knew my mum would completely forget about the fact we were up late. I mean, her 11 year old daughter was being squashed by her friend- who was a boy.
I never saw her this angry before... But suddenly her face changed completely. A booming laughter came out from her lungs.
"Wha-what's going on?" I asked, confusion dominating my brain.
All of a sudden, Jade popped out of nowhere... With a camera in her hand.
"We got you!!" Their synchronised voices made me cringe- they filmed Lewis pouncing on me.
"Lewis loves Josie!" The repetition of this statement was like a punch from a fist full of cringiness each time it was said.
"Mum you're so embarrassing! I hate you!"
And with that, Lewis stormed off.
