Frozen in Time

Chapter 1

It had been four years since Steve and Zephira were dug out of their frozen prison. It was truly a remarkable find. They had found Captain America AND a dragon from the time of the Ice Age.

Steve could still remember when she got close and spat her blue fire everywhere and roared at him so loud it made his clothes flutter within her breath. He wasn't scared of her at all, therefore a bond was created.

Of course, like himself, he had to introduce her to the 21st century. Although his mind was stuck in the 1940's, he had showed her simpler tings from that era.

Both of them did not like to talk about their time in the ice. They had lost everything and time those years.

They had both regained something's though. Steve regained his long lost best friend along with another great friend and a family/team. Zephira just wanted a family too and of course, her rider.

Through the years they've been through it all. From Loki, Ultron, Bucky's brainwashing, and roasting H.Y.D.R.A. bases. They were being taken out so fast, the organization had hardships putting up new ones!

A new compound had been built that was WAY bigger than the tower. There was so much land that Zephira could be in her dragon form and fly and hunt.

Sometimes she would return late and Steve would be greeted with a leg or head during some trips to have coffee outside. It sometimes freaked the others out, but it didn't phase him. They still slept together for ''warmth,'' but a few had different ideas what was going on.

Since this room was so big, Bucky and Sam had the other end. Steve had placed some of his drawings and photos on the walls to look more comforting. At times, it was quite the comedy show. Sam telling stories and jokes while Bucky brought up Steve and his past attempt's. It was quite interesting to listen to for Zephira, she had no idea the Captain used to be ''mischievous.''

Sam showed interest in these stories too. Who wouldn't? It's not everyday you get to hear Captain America having rascal behavior.

Every night before bed, Bucky would taunt Steve in a high feminine voice. ''Steven Grant Rogers I can't believe you're cuddling with a dame before marriage!'' This usually resulted in Steve throwing a pillow across the room at Bucky. ''Shut up jerk,'' would be Steve's usual response as Bucky grinned. Sometimes Sam would join in too just to agg things on.

But at the end of the day, everyone was cool with one another.
