Author’s Note

Hi, readers! Before anything else, thank you sa lahat ng sumama sa journey ng Between Screams and Setlists at ng sequel nitong Don’t Play: The Encore. May ilan na curious kung bakit may Season 1 and 2, at kung bakit one-shot format itong Encore II: Curtain Call, so here’s the full story.

Why One-Shot Format?
Encore II: Curtain Call is written as a standalone one-shot para ma-deliver ang climax ng buong story in one intense, uninterrupted scene. Think of it as the final act of a stage play—no intermissions, no breaks. Diretso sa puso. Sa isip. Sa truth.
Perfect ito para sa pacing at emotional impact ng ending—isang bagsakan ng sagot, kilig, at bangungot.

Why Season 1 and Season 2?
Hinati namin into two seasons ang story para mas malinaw ang story arcs:

Season 1: Between Screams and Setlists
Set during a fan gathering gone wrong.
A night meant for fun turned into a nightmare.
Friendships were tested, fangirl dreams were shattered, and behind the screams were confessions, betrayal, and blood.
This is where Selene met Tomas—and unknowingly walked into a trap.

Season 2: Don’t Play: The Encore
Five years later.
Alamat has disbanded, and the past refuses to stay buried.
Tomas, haunted by what happened, secretly investigates.
Selene returns. So does the fear.
And Alas? He was never really gone.

Encore II: Curtain Call
This one-shot is the final bow.
No more intermissions. All questions will be answered.
Will there be redemption—or one last scream?
