The thing sat in the corner of its enclosure. Eyes frantically scanning out of fear or aggression. The scientist thought it may have been some primal mixture of both.
Will tear the flesh from their bones
Will split them open and let them see what filth they are made of
The decision was made earlier that night. The thing can be left in this form. It wasnt subtle enough for what the client had in mind. The head scientist had this latest procedure prepared for months. All it took was some gentle persuasion and a demonstration of course to show the client the vision he had for the future of biological weaponry. " We must fight monsters with monsters of our own" the words echoed in the head of the scientist. This monster was to be the first of many. A new army for humanity. The word was given to begin. The thing was shocked by taser prods to distract it. It was far too fast to sedate if it knew what was coming. Careful as the guards were, one was still close enough to the cage for an unnatural human-like hand to reach out and pull the poor fool into the cage. The man screamed as molecule thin engineered claws tore through his torso. The others were wise to use the mutilation of their comrade as an opportunity. Multiple large doses of tranquilizers were shot into the thing as it tore limbs from the bloody mess of torn tissue and organs, now exposed to the cool air of the night. That many doses would give even the largest grim a heart attack. The unnatural stamina of the thing was truly wondrous, something that would be enhanced further in its new form.
