At my darkest hour you walked into my life
You made the stars shine again
you made them shine so bright
Your gentle hugs and sweetest smile
Made the pain seem all worth while
I never thought I'd get through this
I thought I'd lost the fight
I thought my life was over
But you became my light
I thought I'd never find another better than he was
But you graced my heart with feelings and helped me in the cause
I've fallen for your eyes and smile in just a day or two
And I realise all I felt before was simply for a fool
For I may not have you, I may never call you mine
But still I think about you and in that moment I feel fine
Because you've made me realise the biggest of all truths
He can't be my whole world when there's people just like you.
