first part wow

 (A/N: second fanfic ever and first one ever online so it WILL suck ass. But hey no smut so either yippee or aw man depending on who you are 🎉 NO ART IS MINE UNLESS I CLAIM IT IS! Btw, you'll probably be unlocking my head canons on the way sooo-

Vee's a fucking sociopath and she doesn't sleep she just charges herself instead because she's a robot. For dialouge:

Shelly's always admired Vee and thought she was really cool! Though, she doesn't pay much attention to her like most others. Whenever she see's Vee she's always either with Brightney or Glisten, arguing with Scraps, or busy on runs. One day, they were both in a main only run together with Sprout, Astro, and Pebble and Shelly decided to go up to Vee while she was on a machine wanting to spend some time with her.

🦖 - "Hey Vee you're doing a really good job on that machine!" Shelly hugged her.

📺 - "Thank you Shelly, but don't we have things to do right now? Like you know, machines to fill?" 

🦖 - "Oh! Well um I was wondering if you were free later..?"

📺- "Maybe. What do you need me for?"

🦖- "I just wanted to hang out!"

📺- "Really..? Well I had stuff to do with Brightney tonight, if you want to hang out while I charge tonight though go ahead."

🦖 - "REALLY!? OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" 

Shelly jumped up and down still hugging Vee causing her to fail all her skill checks and they had to run away after that. But after that, the rest of the run went normally aside from Shelly being extra fangirly over Vee and drowning her with dinosaur facts everytime she's near her. After the run Vee and Shelly went and did their own thing until everyone went to bed.

Shelly walked through the halls heading towards Vee's room where she's charging. She is super excited and a bit blushy. Eventually, he reaches Vee's room and knocks.

🦖 - "Vee? It's shelly!"

📺 - "Come in.." 

She opened the door and went inside. Vee was sitting on her bed with her charger plugged into her back. To Shelly, she looked extra pretty right now.

🦖 - "H-heheh.. Hey Veeeee" Shelly started looking a bit more flustered

📺 - "Don't you need sleep? 

🦖 - "W-well! Um- I don't really get someone to talk to that often.. I'd say my sleep's a worthy sacrifice to be with you!"

📺 - "Still unhealthy since the average toon needs at least 8 hours of sleep but for some reason you value socializing over health so, what are you so desperate to talk about?"

🦖 - "DINOSAURS!!!"

📺 - "Have I not told you already all the dinosaur facts are programmed into me?"

🦖 - "Oh..."

📺 - "But you may continue, I might aswell have a bedtime story. You may sit here" Vee patted the spot next to her on the bed

🦖 - "YAYYYY!"

Shelly sat next to her and talked on and on about dinosaurs. But Vee looked as uninterested as usually. Shelly even leaned on her, hugged her, held her hand but still no reaction! Does she really not care? Slowly Shelly talked less and less, realizing she was basically talking to a wall. 

🦖 - "Heheh.. So uh.. just realized you aren't very responsive-"

📺 - "..."

🦖 - "Dinosaurs really aren't you thing are they..? Well um.. what is something you DO like? We can talk about that instead!" 

📺 - "You want to know MY interests now..?"

🦖 - "Ofc! Are you worried I won't support? You know I support any hobby or interest you have!"

📺- "well Shelly here's the thing.. I don't really have any interests. I don't feel anything about anything." 

Shelly was FLABBERGHASTED. And heartbroken, poor girl 😔 

🦖 - "Y-you don't what? You don't like anything? You don't mean you don't care about me right?"

📺 - "Not really. Sorry Shelly." 

🦖 - "N-no its ok.. I'm going to go now ok? BYE" Shelly's eyes were watering up. 

Shelly then ran out of Vee's room and back to her own. She cried into her pillow for a long while. Why? Why couldn't anyone love her? She just needed someone close to talk to.. 

After that night Shelly's been looking a lot less cheerful than usual. Dandy, with not much to do at his shop during runs has taken notice to this. One run when Shelly was standing near his shop, he motioned her over.

🌼- "Hey Friend! I've noticed you've been a bit down lately, anything the matter? Noticed you've been a bit more distant from Vee lately."

🦖 - "Oh! Thank you Dandy but uh... well... actually yes something IS wrong..." 

🌼- "Well? Whats bothering you my fossil friend?" 

🦖 - "Well... I've um... r-really liked Vee for a while now... and found out last night she can't feel the same!"

🌼- "Oh I see fell in love with a robot huh? Well shelly I think I have right the solution for you! I just need some tapes of course."
