Chapter 2: Deep Code,Deeper Currents

The whole lecture was awkward with Troisya and Glasious sitting together.Every moment Glasious raised her hand to answer the question given by the lecturer and Troisya just stayed silent,her legs thumping as a way for her to stay focused.

The whole thing about education is just sitting in a room listening to someone talks for the whole class and for students to shove everything in their brain and to only let it all out during a phase called 'Examination Week' is something Troisya is not fond off.She stand by the concept of school should sharpen student's natural talent and not "Oh you like drawing?Well suck that up we're going to count algebra because you're totally going to use it in your work life".

Troisya use every strength in her soul to stay woke,she scribbles on a empty paper while her right hand capturing every words the lecturer spits out.And Glasious's whole teacher pet's antics is driving her crazy.

Troisya took a deep huff,she thought to herself "When is this know-it-all going to shut up?"

She could've shutted Glasious down with a knock of her elbow to Glasious's head but she tried to finish this year without causing any blood drops out of someone.

After awhile the lingering long speech that echoes in the lecture auditorium have come to an end.The lecturer assigned a group project.

After the announcement the students lingers around Glasious to be her Group mate but the lecturer have other plan.He spin a wheel with the students name on the wheel and the first name is me, secondly it was Glasious's name and lastly the name falls to a guy's name a half sport major and Ocean Research student,Hendro Manigat,He clicks his tounge at Glasious flirtyly and Troisya sighs about being stuck with a Mary Sue and a dumb jock.

After tons of dumb jokes splurted out by Hendro,Troisya finally read the assignment paper.A research on a hybrid ocean creatures.Troisya thoughts to herself,"Great I'm stuck with a Mary Sue and a dumb jock and we will be playing god by experimenting with his creatures,wow I 'love' my life".

After class ended Troisya packs her stuffs as she noticed that few others students are glaring daggers at her, definitely jealous of her being a group mate with Glasious.

They walked together to Glasious's bougie family mansion,Hendro and Glasious are chatting together and doing their silly banters together.They saw many snacks stall beside the road and they were offered a few sample,Being the cocky dud,Hendro rejected the sample, defending his 'expensive taste' but Troisya gladly bought some snacks from the vendor,a few packet of sunflower seeds and a local soda.Once the three of them arrived at Glasious's family manor Hendro immediately take out his phone and quickly make a tiktok live while Troisya walks in the manor and went straight to the living room and quickly prepped the tools for the project research.

Troisya single handly research about the species and are the one who completed the progress to create the hybrid creature while Hendro and Glasious are busy discussing about makeups and boys.

Troisya looked at them,she spoke in a stoic manner,"If the both of you just willingly invite me here to be a loyal servant for this project i will hang your ass infront of the lecturer and reveal about this whole thing,You gonna help or what?"

Hendro huffs as he wittedly replied,"Whatever wooden board just do it alone,we don't have time today I the dirty works,I just got my manicure done~"

Troisya gritted her teeth and her inner monologue is thriving in anger,"You gaybo,Useless jock,you act like you're so damn tough but in reality you're just a gaybo who plays football to cover up for your gayness you dic-"

Troisya covered her body when she realized about Hendro's implication about her being a wooden board

Troisya replied,"I'm not flat,ok"

Hendro smirks,"I never knew a cold shark like you could blush,awe look at you"

After the whole thing is done in the 'group project' Glasious glances at Troisya who is now fiddling with her laptop.

Glasious's tried to gain her attention,she leans in to see what are Troisya is so focused on point at.Its a website filled with sea creatures's information and recordings compiling on different sea creatures.

Glasious continue leaning forward near Troisya,but she accidentally touches Troisya's hand,it was soft,rough and even cold.But before Glasious can focused on what she is doing Troisya quickly pulled her hand away from Glasious's touch,and in the dim of the situation Glasious could've sworn that she saw Troisya blush.It was a flustered blush and it looks adorable
