Ralph avoided your gaze and sighed.

"The truth is....We all know how much you love it here, and well...While we've never officially talked about it...I think Felix has picked up on the fact that you might want to live here with us, be a bigger part in the game somehow...and well...I think he's just nervous that you'll be another Turbo/King Candy incident....-

Your frown deepened.

You were genuinely hurt by this.

"W-What?..But I would never-

Ralph's eyes widened, and he rushed to comfort you.

"N-no! No! No! He likes you, he does! A-and he trusts you! But you know how Felix is when it comes to the rules! B-but deep down, he knows you would never do anything like Turbo did!"

You gave a small pout.

"Ralph, this isn't helping..."

Ralph groaned.

"I know...I'm sorry...I'm not always the best at the whole comforting thing...The truth is, before you and Venellope, I was alone...For a really long time and-

You interrupted.

"I know..."

Ralph held his arms out, offering a hug-

To which you gladly reciprocated, you buried your face in his chest and let out an annoyed groan of your own.

"I'm sorry."

Ralph said.

"No...don't apologize...I'm sorry too..."

You pulled away from the hug and looked up at Ralph.

"Forgiveness?."

You asked.- (This was something the two of you did when you fought or got upset over something, whether it was unintentional or something triggered it. Forgiveness means you're setting the problem to the side, water under the bridge and yes I know this is super cheesy and sounds weird. What was my inspiration?....One of the Peter Rabbit Movies....)

You asked and Ralph smiled and placed his forehead against yours in a loving manner.

"Forgiveness."

He repeated.

You both pulled away at hearing someone saying

"Awwww."

You looked over to see a Niclander. Mary.

You smiled, a small blush forming.

"O-oh, hi, Mary."

Mary smiled.

"You two are just so cute together!"

Mary waved a hand to signal a goodbye and began to walk off.

"Well, if there's anything you two love birds need, let me know! I'd be happy to help!."

She said. and your eyes widened, you turned to Ralph.

Ralph mouthed a small.

"Don't."

You mouthed back a "Yes."

And Ralph groaned.

"Hey Mary?."

You spoke.

Mary spun around.

"Hmm?"

She asked.

You glanced back up and locked eyes with Ralph.

"There actually is something that we might need your help with..."
