Ruby: 'Captain's log, star date... uh... I have no idea. The evil Stegatons, a race of aliens from across the galaxy, invaded Tellus. They wanted to wipe out their and at the same time, our ancient enemy, The Dark Empire, so they unleashed a Black Hole Super Weapon that destroyed both the Dark Empire and their current target, Tellus. We lost our friends, our allies, even Chronoa. We were only saved at the last second by a mysterious Metalman called The Metalloid. What comes next... is but another adventure for the Time Patrol.'
It cuts to the main bridge of the Valor-Class Cruiser, the Utility, where all 29 survivors of the Stegaton's successful invasion mourn for the loss of their planet. Ruby looks out the window until Tony turns to Metalloid to ask the obvious questions he and the others have.
Tony: Okay, Metalloid, or, whatever the hell you want us to call you! What just happened?
Yang: This has got to be some sort of sick joke, right? RIGHT!?
She grabbed Metalloid by the shoulders and began to shake him, but he then slaps her, causing her to stop and move out of his way so he can walk over to his spot on the bridge.
Metalloid: Calm down, Ms. Xiao Long.
Yang: D-Did you just- Did you just slap me?
Metalloid: Yes. And I didn't even use my smacking hand.
Yang: You mean, the one you didn't just use WAS?
Metalloid: We're straying off topic here! First things first. I have a job to do. Now, please, I've got a ship to fly while you all stand about gawking.
He enters a little contraption that covers his whole body minus the head as a holoscreen of coordinates are reflecting off his eyes.
Nora: What is he doing?
Weiss: He seems to be plugged into the ship.
Iced: That's right! Some Metalmen have the unique ability to pilot their own personnel starships this way.
Tristina: Now's not the time for a fun fact, Iced! Hey! Metalhead! Where are you taking us?
Metalloid: All questions will be answered in time.
Metalloid locks in the correct coordinates that soon makes the entire ship quake from opening some kind of time hole that has everyone freak out a bit.
Metalloid: Hold on to something!
The process begins while everyone begins to panic and their yells block out Metalloid's advice.
Metalloid: Oh, too late for that. Apologies.
Once they entered the time hole, everyone's vision and surroundings began warping and changing different colors as bright flashing flights were blasted in their faces for a few split seconds.
