Once walking out the shower room hoping to see his sleeping princess, he hustled to try and find his staff and when in his grasp he thought he would see multiple shades of blue, but it was left...

Empty?

Panic circled through Pure Vanilla's veins at what could have happened and the multiple ways he could be gone. trying to gather his thoughts, he decided to run through the different answers he had come up with knowing the little about the beast: someone could have stolen him, no that wouldn't work no one else could enter his chambers and only he knew Shadow Milk had actually been here; he crumbled in the beds and disintegrated while he was in the shower which would make no sense as he was injured but not so badly after healing that he would just crumble; which left only one plausible option.

He had ran away.

The lack of the soul jam on the table side only confirmed maybe the worst possibility nearly out of all the others he had thought of. And if he was awake it meant he heard it all and now knew about his true feelings towards him which were anything but pure. When the sun rises he will go around the kingdom and surrounding land to find him and ask what he heard and take him back but this time, he will take more drastic measures to keep him in place where he can see Shadow Milk. Was this behavior a little stalker like?

Yes but what Pure Vanilla feels for him it was the simplest depiction that makes the most sense and he wasn't even too concerned about it. His main worry was by how he had to find the cookie before he causes or more likely gets into trouble himself.

Sleep was mandatory for him if he wanted all the energy he could even get for tomorrow and search, also as someone had been taking up his very comfortable bed he had been sleeping on the chair and sofa in his room. So to say the he had missed the silky covers was an understatement to be taken as a warning if any cookie disturbs his slumber. It will be sunrise in a few hours so going to sleep is the best idea before he wont be able to get any at all, so sliding into the covers it slightly smelt of blueberries and calm lavender.

The scavenger hunt will commence when the sun rises.

-----------------------------------------

As the sun cradled through the thin light blue curtains, Shadow Milk had to put on some other clothes otherwise he would have been spotted immediately by the vanilla pervert. Could he even be described as vanilla at what he does to his belongings and god knows what he would do if it was to himself. Shaking his head to try and demolish the thought, his focus went back to deciding an outfit from the limited options from a dusty wardrobe. It had to be not too noticeable but still have some fashion because it broke many morals to let the public eyes see him in a disheveled state.

Looking through the choices he was left with: an old school uniform which was definitely not up to date with the newer design; his sleeping garnets which too be fair were very extravagant to sleep in, and that didn't fit the theme of keeping a low profile; and other than a few shades of blue there was nothing left to choose.

Almost ready to face the worst out of his eye he noticed an outfit which he had overlooked, he never missed any fine details and this only made him realize how tired he is. Looking over the last option it was his old principal robes he would wear before he had transformed into a beast.

*Well out of what I have this will have to do, it is the same colors of what all other richer citizens wear and it could easily let me slip around the city to the air ships. Other than the little extra detail I should be perfectly concealed with civilians as earlier ones rush around and get ready for the morning tasks.*

Once in his new identity Shadow Milk left the academia and fled back to the sky docks praying that Pure Vanilla was not awake yet. Streets were barely occupied with little shops slowly unpacking the days goods and writing daily specials from the leftovers from the day before.

Finally watching as the sun rises over the walls it felt slightly nostalgic to when he once was just like this in the school he built from the ground up just like his spiral. Waiting was not one of his best talents and especially at what might happen if he stayed any longer with that buttery freak. But when walking through to the entrance he was left in horror and fear to what will happen next now.

"Closed for repairs"

What could he do?

How is he going to be able to leave the kingdom when the only way until Pure Vanilla opens the gates himself in person. In a panic Shadow Milk uses all of the removed magic to teleport back to his room as it is one of the only places that the other didn't even know about and also one of the most hidden rooms in the Vanilla Kingdom. He has to make a new plan fast because soon the other will either figure out he has gone or already knows and is going to start his search. But with now all his strength gone from the long distance of teleportation, Shadow Milk collapsed on the star sign symbol covered sheets fighting the physical need for rest.

*No! I have to stay awake unless he comes and tries to take me away and do unsightly things to me, whatever he is going to do it will not be good for me in any way. Stay awake! Please body do what I am telling you to!

STAY AWAKE!*

But it was no use as him body fell limp and as the stress disappeared from his face and into slumber Shadow Milk went. The only protection was his room which he would hopefully not find and if so would not be able to solve the puzzle older than the time Pure Vanilla has been alive.

All he could do was hope not to get found.
