Lydia

It's that time of year again, camping.

I'm finally 16 years old and free of jacob.Let's just say my bestfriend cameron dallas handled that.

I click on my new phone that apple came out with this year.

I see I have a text from cameron,

from cameron:
hey, I know its hard but try to make new friends okay?

to cameron:
no! I hate people!

from cameron:
oh stop, you didn't hate me in 10th grade when I saved you.

to cameron:
don't you dare even think to bring that up.

from cameron:
sorry sorry

to cameron:
I'm there.I have to go love you!

from cameron:
I love you too, have a good time.

We pulled into 251 and again my trailer was neatly set up with the door firmly locked.

I got in and began unpacking my clothes while I waited for my cousins to arrive.

I decided that I would go on a walk to the beach while I was waiting.

I took out my messy bun of brown hair and brushed it out.

My naturally straight hair fell perfectly to the top of my butt as I fixed the black mascara placed neatly on my long lashes making my ocean blue eyes stand out.

I check over my outfit to make sure it was good.

a blue over-sized sweat shirt, leggings, and ugg moccasins.

I grabbed my phone off the charger and begin to walk to the opening at the end of the street.

I was walking when two kids on penny boards rode by.

"hey." a boy with dark hair said.

"hi." I whispered.

I kept walking when I realized the kid was next me.

"so what's your name?" he said.

"lydia." I mumbled.

"dia?" he asked.

"lydia." I said louder.

"oh, lydia." he said and I nodded.

"how old are you?" he asked.

"16" I said.

"oh, i'm 17 and my name is jack by the way." he said.

I had to admit that jack was pretty attractive and his friend wasn't bad either.

"this is jack also." he said.

"he's also 17." he said.

"two jack's?" I questioned.

"yeah you can call me johnson though." the other spoke up.

"okay." I said.

"where are you going?" jack asked.

"to the beach." I say.

"may we join?" he asks.

"hmmm, why not?" I smirk.

We walk toward the path and I take off my shoes and socks, hiding them under a bush with the boy's penny boards.

We walk to the beach and sit in a circle and play 21 questions.
