Chapter 1

Luke's POV:

" come on Jenna please."
" no Luke, why is this so important to you?"
" because mom and dad are getting older and you need someone who is..."
" who is what? Not old? I'm happy here in Leesburg."
" nobody said you had to leave Leesburg. We go to Leesburg. we never left it."
" you're here like once in a while."
" we are there all the time. It's either there or Nashville now I already talked to mom and dad and they thought it was a good idea why cant you get on board with it?"
" I'll think about it."
" thank you."
Then the line went dead.
" what, what happened? " Caroline asked
" she hung up on me."
" well what did she say?"
" she said she'll think about it."
" that's good though maybe she will see it's the right decision for her."
" I hope so."
" Luke we're ready for you." Carter said
" okay thanks Carter."
I got ready for my concert. Dierks was performing with me later on.

Caroline POV:

" Caroline what's wrong with Luke he seems focused on something else."
" he's trying to convince his sister to move in with us."
" Jenna?"
" yep."
" I'll talk to her."
" you sure?"
" yeah we're friends."

Dierks POV:

I dialed Jenna's number. We've been friends for a while now so this should be easy. She answered.

" hello?"
" Jenna you need to listen to your brother."
" Dierks? How are you?"
" I'm good now listen to your brother and come live with him."
" I told him I'd think about it."
" fine but this could be your adventure. You said when you were younger that you wanted to be on your toes never settle for something that you didn't want. Jenna find what you want. On the road could be it."
" I'll decide. I'll figure it out. I gotta go goodbye."
" bye Jen."

Caroline POV:

" how'd it go with Jenna?" I asked when Dierks came back
" she said she'll decide."
" hopefully soon because it's driving Luke crazy"
" I know it is. I better get on that stage." He kissed me on the head and ran on stage with Luke.
I decided to call Jenna.
" this is the third phone call today that I'm getting to tell me to move in with you and my brother." She said picking up the phone.
" I'm not calling for that reason." I said
" what? Why? Is everything okay?"
" everything fine I just need to tell you the truth."
" about?"
" everything."
" okay.."
" Jenna the reason he wants you here is because one he misses you and feels like he's missing out on a whole lot of your life. Two because he lost his older brother and sister and he doesn't want to lose you two. Three because your brother- in- law isn't doing so well and he thinks that Jordan, Kris and Til are going to have to move in with us anyway too."
" I decided."
" and..."
" I'm flying in tomorrow. Don't tell Luke I'm gonna tell him I'm not coming but tomorrow I'll show up."
" okay. We'll see you tomorrow."
" Caroline?"
" yes?"
" thanks for telling me what's going on."
" you needed to know."
  I hung up before Luke and Dierks came off stage.
" you did great babe!"  I said and Luke kissed me.
" thanks but who were you talking to?"
" one of your guys, he said the boys are already in bed."
" well that's good. I better go call Jenna again."
" actually Luke she said she would call you so let her."
"She may have forgot I'll call her."

We went into the bus and I heard Luke yelling.
"SO YOU TOLD ME YOUD THINK ABOUT IT JUST TO CALL ME AND TELL ME YOURE NOT COMING?! JENNA WHAT THE HELL!"
A couple seconds passed and then he yelled again
" I DONT CARE JENNA YOU SAID YOU WOULD THINK ABOUT IT YOU KNOW WHAT FORGET IT. GOODBYE!" And I heard him curse and then he came out.
" I guess she's not coming?" I asked
" no she's not. I'm going to bed. Goodnight. Love you." He said as he kissed my head.
" goodnight."
Jenna needs to get here soon.
