His red eyes sparked and then he shook his round head. "Perish, Membranes!" Bloody Gir shouted, shooting more little missiles. He had no idea where Dib went, but he couldn't worry about it now. He also needed to kill Silverfox and Sam. They were next on the list. He left without seeing if Gaz was dead or not. If she was alive, she couldn't possibly be a threat anymore.

"Next up: Unknown place," his chip said. This would be a long search.

Tak held her breath as she walked in Zim's house. It reeked of Irken blood and death. "Zim, you idiot, did gou get hurt again?" she called. Therr was no reply, and she didn't even see his disobedient little robot, Gir. He just isn't home. There's no way he could be...passed, she thought reassuringly. He's too arrogant to be dead. She continued looking for him. Maybe Gir was like Mimi, maybe he had encountered a Xlaitian. No, no, that was impossible. She was captured back on the Moo-Ping 10. That was billions of miles away.

"Rngh," a voice said from the kitchen. Her alien heart skipped a beat as she leapt into the room, but there was no one. "Zim?" she asked cautiously. "Come on out Zim! You coward. Just stop hiding like the moron you are." Her words stung, so she hoped she would get a smart comeback from Zim, but there was nothing. It was eerily silent. Something was up. "Zim, it's me, Tak... I'm not here for revenge. Or," she said, hitting her head with her hand, "To take your mission." She actually was here to do just both of those things, but she needed Zim to come out. Her Tallest needed him.

"Zim, come out! I have a death ray for you..." she persuaded, holding it out. "It's not working so I can't hurt you...some more than you already are." Still, there was a mystical silence in the house. Something hit the floor from the living room, an unmistakable sound of a piece of metal. His Pak, perhaps, she thought cleverly. She went into the room, and there laid Zim, unconscious, on the floor. And then, there was Gir, red oil spilled all over him. "I thought more life forms were in here, and I was correct," Gir said.

"Oh, no..." Tak murmured. She looked down at Zim, the most arrogant, persistent Irken in the universe, his eyes drawn tightly shut. The Irken undercover looked back up at Gir, no, Bloody Gir, once again. She saw it happen before, to her beloved Mimi. Tak held in a cry of defeat at her past failure to save her SIR Unit. "Perish, Janitor Tak of planet Irk!" the robot then said, shooting a missile at her. She swiftly ducked under it, the rocket just above her head, as she tackled him. Bloody Gir didn't even flinch. As gracefully as a machine possibly could, it slipped from under her and kicked her right where her holographic nose was. The kick forced her face to bedim, and soon her identity was revealed. She was no longer human.

"Threat targeted!" Bloody Gir yelled, flying towards her at full speed. Tak jumped away, but the robot's fist jammed into part of her squeegly spooch and she fell to her knees, gasping. She leapt up, but her stance faltered, and Zim's assistant easily pushed her down next to her green-skinned enemy. He looked like he was asleep instead of nearly dead. Now she understood why Irken funerals had all the people's eyes closed--it was easier to bear that they were sleeping instead of gone forever...like her foster sister, Lin. She played dead and hit a pressure point that safely stopped the periodic beat of her squeegly spooch. Bloody Gir was fooled, and as he looked for more Irkens, she hit Zim's too.

A few long seconds passed, her organs burning from lack of movement. "No threat detected, next locations: Unknown galaxy," he said to himself, flying out the window even though the door was busted down. She got up, taking a deep breath. "Zim, Zim, get up," Tak whispered. She could hide it no longer: she admired his arrogance, she admired his quick-witted brains, she even admired his flaws. She loved him.

He didn't move for minutes more, and then, just as Tak was considering leaning in closer to him just to test her limits, he sputtered yellow, thick blood at her face. Her eyes half closed and her eyebrows created a crease in between her purple eyes. "Yes, thank you, Zim, for spitting blood on me," she snapped. "Tak?!" Zim squealed, suddenly wide awake. He scrambled to his feet and set his fighting stance up instantly. "Why are you here, filthy worm?! I thought I got rid of you in space!" Tak held up her hands that were concealed in fine, thick leather. "Zim, I was just wandering around the planets and decided to give you a visit, you moron," she retorted. "Ah, stealing my mission, eh?" he asked snugly. "Well, do I ha--." Tak cut him off by putting a finger un front of his head. "I believe in fair games, idiot Zim. It seems as though other problems are here that you need to deal with," she said.

"What? You didn't seem to believe in fair games when you tried taking the planet!" Zim remarked. "Well...I'm different now!" Tak replied, blushing uncomfortably. "Ooookay, then. Well, Tak, Zim does have problems. I suggest you just, uh, pack your things and GET OUTTA MY BASE!" he screamed. Tak shook her head. "Our first priority," she said, "Is to stop Bloody Gir." Zim gave her a totally confused look like the idiot he is. "Your SIR Unit malfunctioned in a dark way, causing it to break, leak oil, and then the oil changes to blood. If we can't get him back in time, we'll have to destroy him. Just like my Mimi."
