"Enter" He answered.

"Ohl Eve!" He exclaimed looking up from the paper on his desk. "Did you sleep well?" He inquired.

"Better than I have ever before" I answered. "Ross I need to get back to my parents" I added.

"Are you sure, because I  can offer you permanent residence" He offered.

"Oh Ross you're too kind" I responded. "But I don't want to impose on your home" I finished.

"Eve you're apart of my life and you could never impose" He said getting up and walking over to me. "Its your choice but remember you've always got a place here" He said tipping my chin up to look at him and our lips meeting softly.

"Would you like me to escort you home?" He offered.

"No I think I will be fine riding by myself, but thank you for the hospitality and thought" I answered.

"If you need anything and I mean anything please let me know" He said walking me to the door.

"Thank you Ross" I replied, I planted a kiss on his lips and Jud walked my horse around to me, Ross helped me mount my horse and then I galloped off home giving Ross Poldark one last look before looking away again, it was little bit of a long ride but  didn't mind, it was nice galloping across the cliffs and breathing in the fresh salt sea air, now I could get used to this as I used to ride along here like this before the war.

As soon as I approached the farm house there tethered outside was a dapple grey Irish Hunter mare, an I didn't know whose horse that was till I walked in, there sitting on a couch next to my mother was George, Francis' best friend.

"Good to see your back" My father greeted me.

"Was your stay with Ross pleasant?" My Aunt asked but I  could tell she was agitated by it.

"Sit down we need to talk with you" My mother said.

So I sat down and she began. "We have been talking and we think that since you and Ross fought together in the war, it seems a bit inappropriate to be courting your captain and we see that George hear is a nice, kind gentleman and we think he would suit you better" She finished.
