(Daykota Fitz P.O.V.)

Ugh, morning.

Honestly, the only thing that gets me up in the morning anymore is cross country.

I know, kind of odd. But, xc is the best thing to ever happen to me. But, that is how I really got to know Matthew Kingston.

He is perfect, and beautiful. I love him so much.

And, I guess he loves me too. I mean, he has been flirting with me.

New text from Matt.

"Hey, Day, want to meet up and get coffee before school? - Matt"

"Yeah, sure. Let me get ready first. I will text you when I am ready."

I get dressed and take a mirror selfie, and post it to Instagram.

Thirty seconds later, Matt commented "you are so perfect."

"Aw, thanks @matttttttkingston."

I have three likes and one comment already. One @mattttttkingston, and one from @A.

I text Matt to tell him I am ready.

Who is this A person, and why did he or she like my post?

I might as well check out the account on the way in.

"Need a ride?" My brother, Aspen asks.

"No, Matt is giving me a ride. We are meeting for coffee."

"Alright. See ya at school. Get me a coffee."

"Bye Dad. See you first period."

"Do you want anything to eat first?"

"Nope, I am good."

"Alright, you can use my discount for coffee. You are your mother's daughter." Dad sighs.

"Thanks Daddy."

I walk out the door, and go next door.

"What a gentleman." I say, as Matt opens the car door.

"Thank you."

"If you and Matt are getting coffee at the Brew, can you get me a large coffee? - C"

I look in my wallet to make sure I have enough.

"Yeah, sure. I guess. Ask everyone else if they want something. - D"

"Carlise asking for coffee?"

"Everyone wants a coffee except Brooklyn and Dad. They want iced tea, with light ice. - C"

"How ever did you know?" I say, sarcasticly.

"Haha. So, I have a question for you."

Is he going to ask me out? I hope so.

"What are we doing today for practice?"

Damn.

"Um, I think a 45 minute run. Let me check."

I open my phone's schedule.

"Yup, 45 minutes."

"I like those. They are fun."

"Yeah. Want to maybe go to Hades today?"

"Only if we are not being followed."

"Okay. Then Hades it might be."

Hades is a place about a mile away from the elementary school.

"Yay we are at the Brew." I say.
