Quick note: This is my first story, and there will be extreme grammar mistakes and maybe some stuff that doesn't make sense 😭 i apologize in advance.....
"Santasia you've got something in the mail!" i heard my mothers voice from downstairs. I smiled to myself, could it be? could it be the letter that i've been waiting to get. To see if i was accepted or not. i hurried downstairs. The old wood planks creaking slightly as i walked towards my mother. She held some newspapers, bills and lastly.. A letter signed "The art academy"
I could feel my hands beginning to sweat as i grabbed the letter and carefully ripped it open. There was a smaller paper i took from the envelope. I unfolded it , Skimming through the paper until i saw. "Santasia Rose Evergreen congratulations you've been accepted" And so on. My eyes widened, i couldn't believe it! i've been accepted! The school i had dreamed of finally came true. My mom looked excited to see what it was. I Squealed and jumped "Let me see!!" my mom said. I handed her the letter and we celebrated together. "My baby all grown up, moving away from mommy" My mom said with a fake pout. I chuckled and patted her on the shoulder Before hugging her. "i can't believe it! I'm gonna pack my stuff right away!"
I hurried up the creaking stairs and opened the door into my room excitedly. I had grabbed the old suitcase that lied on top of my closet collecting dust. i blowed on it sending the particles flying. I had finished packing and i expected to leave tommorrow morning
