2 - Moving The Screen With the Character
***
to move the screen there is something called pan follow and cut, how you use this is simple
---
2 - Moving The Screen With the Character (cut)
INT. ANNIKA APARTMENT - DAY
@JEREMY is standing screen left in zone 1
@cut to zone 1
...
---
then you continue without errors on that part, it is very simple BUT check before you publish that episode how much zones there are in the location, to my experience there is usually up to 3, and also to my experience if you use zone 4, and in the location there is no zone 4 there will be a black background, so just beware.
now next is follow
btw it's a continuation of the example before
---
2 - Moving The Screen With the Character (follow)
@follow JEREMY to screen center in zone 2
---
now listen, this makes Jeremy move from his position (screen left in zone 1) move to the other position (screen center in zone 2) while the camera is following him
---
now another one called PAN
---
3 - Moving The Screen With The Character (pan)
INT. ANNIKA APARTMENT - DAY
@cut to zone 1/2/3
@pan to zone 1/2/3
EXAMPLE
@cut to zone 1
@pan to zone 3
---
so you remember
1 - everything that i capitalised must be capitalised in your script too
2 - the location does not have to be INT. ANNIKA APARTMENT - DAY
3 - the character doesnt have to be Jeremy
4 - spell EVERYTHING correctly
comment if this helped
