Chapter 3: That boy will be the death of me

Mike's POV

"Blake.....Blake....where the fuck are you man!?" God where is that man. He says he's the alpha, yet he disappears like a lost fucking five year old in Shoprite!

*turning the hallway corner*

"Blake...?" Holy shit he's making out with Nick's little sister! He stood up both of them brushing themselves off. He of course had a protective arm around her waist.

"Does every girl get such a warm welcome to the pack?" She laughed sarcastically.

"Only for you Baby Girl," Blake chuckled.

"Wait are you two..." I questioned wary the words that Nick said going through my mind that Blake can't have either of his sisters.

"I guess we are mates," She said nonchalantly.

"Jade right?" I asked holding out a hand.

"Yep and your Mike the Beta right?" She responded going to shake my hand.

Blake's POV

Jade's hand almost touched Mike's, and sudden growl ripped out of my chest sending both of them flinching and then laughing.

"Yo man it was just a handshake!" Mike said chuckling.

"I guess someone's already jealous and we aren't even dating!" Jade said clutching her stomach she was laughing so hard.

"Alright alright sorry my wolf just doesn't like Jade touching any male until I at least mark her.." I quieted them rubbing the back of my neck. Then light bulb, "Wait! Who said you weren't mine!" I mock yelled/ whined at Jade.

"Well first of big boy you haven't asked me out yet, second if you've met my brother yet he's crazy protective over me, even more so then my sis, and third I'm friends with your sister and been there before, that shit is akward as fuck," she said matter of factly.

Is she rejecting us??

"Are you rejecting me!!!" I basically screamed.

"No no no, that's not at all what I'm saying!" She said giving me an evil grin.

"What do you mean..." I said hesitantly.

"What it means is Mr Big Alpha Player boy has to get to know me, and make sure it's okay with Nick and Dawn. Then we can tell Sara too, but I would cover your ears 'cuz that bitch's excited scream is fucking ear drum shattering," she said again wincing at the thought of the scream.

"I like you already!" Mike said chuckling and giving her a high-five causing another growl to rip out.

"I know, I know, no touching she's like a fucking museum exhibit you can look, but you can't touch that shit I get it I get it," he said monotonously yet chuckling.

"We'll the museum exhibit is going to lunch now bye!" She chuckled giving me a wink and Mike a high-five. That girl will be the death of me yet.

Jade's POV

I walked into luck 10 minutes late thanks to my 'hallway fun' with Blake. That boy will be death of me yet.

"Jade there you are we were worried sick!" Jake and Brian yelled in a girly high pitched voice and hugging me into a tight embrace.

"Can't breathe, dumbasses," I chocked out. They let go and Dawn then came over snickering and hugging me.

"Well there you are!"

"Eh sorry Mrs Smith was giving me shit for cursing in her class, or something. I couldn't tell you to be honest. I wasn't paying attention in the slightest." I said with a chuckle. "Um why do I smell my brother on you!" She blurted with a smirk. Shit, it just has to be this fucking way. What am I suppose to say? Oh yeah, hey Dawn I just made out with your brother in the hallway and were mates! It's good to see you to, so how's the pizza!

"We bumped into each other in the hallway and he said hi introducing himself and Mike welcoming me to the pack and stuff," I shrugged lying smoothly. "Oh okay," Dawn said turning away to the cafeteria lines getting the four of us lunch.

"So how was that welcome...warm, heated, janitors closet worthy..." Brian said with an evil smirk. What the fuck are they.....oh shit they read my fucking mind. "Oh fuck you! You mind reading assholes," I said slapping each of them.

"Oh yeah, hey Dawn I just made out with your brother in the hallway and were mates! It's good to see you to, so how's the pizza!" They mocked my thoughts in a girly voice.

"Hey Jade," said a husky voice behind me. I turned around slowly putting my usual attitude on.

I looked up to someone about 6'2" with jet black hair and brown eyes. He was pretty built and I also smelled werewolf. I mean this guy was hot but no where near Blake. Oh no, Blake. Jake and Brian grinned stupidly probably reading my thoughts again. I mentally face-palmed. He gave me a cocky grin.

"And how can I help the asshole of the year honoree today," I said with a 'wtf are you gonna do about it' look. Jake and Brian snickered.

"Well, I'm Cody. Your brother told me to come and get you so we can all sit at the same table. Which seeing you, I now don't mind the new addition at all," he said smirking again.

"What is it with guys here! Keep it in your mother fucking pants, Cody! I'll be there in a minute but I'm bringing them with me."

"Whatever Jade!" He said chuckling.

"What an asshole," I muttered causing Jake and Brian to laugh.

"Yeah, we could tend to agree that's our older brother," Jake stated still laughing. Dawn came over with a tray piled in food. I carefully took her arm not wantig to dump the food, and the four of us walked over to the table Cody was telling us about. I looked over, and saw Blake sitting next to Nick. Oh well, this gonna just be great! They're friends it just went from about a 4 to a 10 on the awkward level. "Hey bab-Jade good to see you," Blake said correcting himself from call me baby girl like he did in front of Mike.

"Hey," I said and everyone was staring at me like I had fucking horns growing out of my ass! Jake and Brian snickered at what I assume is my thoughts. I rolled my eyes at them, and sat down. Then, Cody put his arm around my shoulder. The whole room fell silent except one pissed off alpha sitting across from me.
