Chapter 4

Amber's POV:

A few minutes after I returned from Zandar's house, James came in all wet, and with a gigantic smile.

"Oh, James! I'm guessing you heard the news!" I shrieked happily.

He looked at me, still smiling.

"What news?" he asked stupidly.

"Oh, well...HILDE AND DESMOND ARE PLANNING TO BREAK UP!!!!!"

He shook his head.

"I'm happy because Sof-" he began.

"Ugh! You just ruined my night by saying her name!" I interrupted.

He glared at me.

"Well you better get used to hearing her name because we're a couple now!" he exclaimed.

I gasped.

"Why did you do that! Ugh! You just began talking to her like yesterday, and you guys are already going out!" I shouted at him.

He chuckled.

"It's called 'love at first sight' or plainly true love! Also, what are you talking about? You began flirting with Hans wen before I introduced you guys! Then, about a few seconds after the introducing, you popped the question!"

I giggled.

"Whatever!"

Daddy suddenly came in.

"What's going in here?" he asked a bit upset.

"Oh Daddy! James here is dating another girl! And he just met her a few days ago!" I replied.

Daddy grinned.

He looked over at James.

"What is it now? Your 2nd one?"

James nodded.

Ugh!

James POV:

Looks like Amber didn't have things the way she wanted!

"Kids, let's go out and catch a movie at the theater! I've heard of a few that have caught my attention." Dad announced.

The three of us ran to grab our stuff.

I ran to my room to change into some dry clothes.

Baileywick waved hello as I ran upstairs.

I took off my wet clothes, and grabbed a T-shirt and some jeans.

I looked for my favorite sweater, but I couldn't find it.

As I grabbed another sweater, I remembered I had given Sof my favorite sweater.

I hope she was hugging it right now.

A few minutes later, we were in the car.

Oh!

What a new feeling I had for Sof!

In a few minutes, we arrived at the theater, and got down.

Sheesh!

I had to clear my mind.

It was full of Sof's voice!

We got our tickets, and bought popcorn, soda, and a lot of candy!

We walked into the big room where The Vatican Tapes was going to show.

We sat down at the very, very, VERY top.

The commercials started showing, and quickly ended.

The movie began.

Sofia, I love you. One voice told me.

Stop it, and pay attention to the movie! another voice commanded.

I watched the movie.

What a night!

Sofia's POV:

I opened my eyes to the sun peaking through the curtains, the birds singing a beautiful melody, and the little woodland creatures kissing me, trying to et me to stand so they can help me dress.

Just kidding.

I actually woke up to a wonderful smell on my face.

I had something on my face.

I took off this suspicious item, and saw it was a sweater.

OMG! It's James' sweater!

I pressed it against my nose.

Mmmmm...Spice Bomb! 💣

I hugged the sweater.

I jumped out of my bed, and began dressing.

Today was Monday, one of my 5 free days per week.

I put on my Mrs. Gosling shirt, and some khaki short-shorts.

I put on my grey Converse, and tied the laces.

"Hey Mom!" I said.

Mom was sweeping the floor, humming a song.

"Mom?"

She kept humming.

"🎵I know you, I met you once upon a dream!🎵" I sang out loud.

Mom came back to Earth.

"Hi sweetheart! How'd you wake up?" she asked.

"I'm fine. My question is...how are you?" I questioned.

She smiled.

"Oh! At the shoestore, I spoke to an old friend from my old high school. I wouldn't really say friend because he was a football player at our high school. Girls fell over him, and would die to just talk to him. Problem is, I was never one of those girls. I was a rebel. We went out, and then, unfortunately, a little gossip, which was not true, went out. He broke up with me, and I was heartbroken, then I met...your father."

Her smile became a frown.

"Wow." I whispered.

Story sounded a bit like my relationship with James!

"Mom, what was the gentleman's name?" I asked curiously.

Mom blushed.

"Oh. His name is Roland."

Roland?
