INT. HOSPITAL HALLWAY – DAY

Natasha strides down the hallway, her footsteps quick and deliberate. She's still fuming from Tony's words, ignoring everything and everyone around her. Bruce is close behind, trying to keep up.

BRUCE
(calling out, a little desperate)
"Nat, wait!"

She doesn't stop. Her focus is entirely on the elevator at the end of the hall. When she reaches it, she glances back over her shoulder and catches sight of Bruce hurrying toward her. For a split second, there's hesitation in her eyes, but she presses the button anyway.

The doors begin to close just as Bruce reaches them. He doesn't make it in time and slams into the doors as they seal shut. Frustrated, he knocks against the metal, his breathing heavy. That's when he spots the sign for the stairwell. His resolve hardens, and he doesn't give up.

INT. STAIRWELL – CONTINUOUS

Bruce bounds down the stairs two steps at a time, his breaths growing heavier the farther he goes. He counts the floors under his breath, but by the fourth flight, he's leaning heavily on the rail, momentarily winded.

BRUCE
(huffing to himself)
"so... many... stairs!!!"

He forces himself forward, descending as fast as he can, his determination keeping him moving despite the burn in his legs.

INT. LOBBY – DAY

Bruce bursts into the lobby, panting and red-faced, just in time to see Natasha stepping out of the elevator. He leans forward, his hands on his knees, gasping for air.

Natasha pauses briefly, surprised to see him there, but her expression hardens almost immediately. She resumes her stride toward the exit without a word.

BRUCE
(stammering, still catching his breath)
"Where are you going?"

NATASHA
(quiet but firm, as she keeps walking)
"I'm leaving... somewhere, anywhere but here."

Straightening himself, Bruce starts following her again.

BRUCE
(determined)
"Then I'm coming with you."

Natasha stops abruptly and whirls around to face him. Her movements are sharp and precise, her piercing gaze locking onto his. She steps closer, placing a hand firmly on his chest and pushing him back slightly.

NATASHA
(commanding)
"No, you're not. You heard Tony. If you stick with me, those assholes will come after you too. I'm not gonna drag you into this mess. You hear me, Bruce? Now turn around and walk away."

Bruce freezes. Her words and the intensity in her voice leave him momentarily stunned. Natasha holds his gaze a moment longer before turning away.

EXT. HOSPITAL – DAY

Bruce stands just inside the glass doors, watching as Natasha crosses the parking lot to her black Aston Martin Vanquish. She pulls open the driver's side door and slips inside.

For a second, Bruce stays frozen, processing. But then, determination flickers back into his expression. He pushes through the doors, sprinting outside just as Natasha starts the car.

The sound of his footsteps reaches her just as she's about to step on the gas. Suddenly, Bruce leaps in front of the car, arms outstretched.

Natasha slams on the brakes, her heart pounding as she stares at him in shock. She quickly rolls down the window and yells.

NATASHA
(angry, startled)
"What the hell, Bruce! Have you lost your mind?!"

Bruce doesn't move from in front of the car. Instead, he walks purposefully around to the passenger side, his gaze intense and unwavering. He stops at her open window, leaning down to meet her eyes.

BRUCE
(firmly, with raw emotion)
"No! Natasha, for once in your life, listen to me! I know you think you can handle things alone, but there's no way I'm letting you do this without me. We're in this together, remember?"

Natasha blinks, momentarily caught off guard by his sincerity. She swallows hard, her voice soft but laced with frustration.

NATASHA
(quietly)
"Bruce... You don't even know what you're getting yourself into."

Bruce doesn't hesitate. He opens the passenger door and slides into the seat next to her. His eyes stay locked on hers.

BRUCE
(nervous voice crack)
"Probably not..."
(resolutely)
"...But I don't care. You can't push me away, Natasha. Not this time... If you go, I go."

Natasha looks away, her gaze dropping to her hands on the steering wheel. Her jaw tightens, and for a moment, her eyes close. Then she exhales deeply, her resolve softening.

When she opens her eyes again, there's the faintest trace of a smile on her lips.

NATASHA
(muttering, but with a hint of warmth)
"You're an idiot."

Natasha's lips twitch into a reluctant smile, the weight of everything between them seeming to ease just a little. She shifts the car into gear, and as the engine purrs to life, Bruce's eyes stay fixed on her with quiet certainty. They don't need words now his presence next to her speaks volumes. And as the car pulls away, the world outside blurs into nothingness, the only thing clear is that they're facing this, whatever it is, together.
