You'd both been talking for a while, ever since that night backstage after his concert. What started as a casual conversation had turned into something deeper, more natural, and here you were, about to spend an evening with him.
Jaden had insisted on keeping it low-key, no over-the-top fancy restaurants or paparazzi waiting outside. It was just supposed to be you two, enjoying each other's company. You were more than fine with that.
He was already waiting for you at the entrance of a cozy little outdoor café, his signature black hoodie and ripped jeans giving him that effortlessly cool vibe that you loved. When he saw you walking toward him, his face lit up with that familiar smile that always made your heart skip a beat.
"You look incredible," he said, voice smooth and warm, his eyes not hiding the genuine appreciation as he opened the door for you.
"Thanks," you replied, cheeks heating up from the compliment. "You're not so bad yourself."
He laughed, the sound making your heart race just a little faster. It felt like a scene out of a movie, but this was real. This was your night.
You sat down at a small table under a string of fairy lights, the soft hum of conversation and clinking glasses in the background. It was a perfect kind of peaceful, nothing too extravagant, just you and Jaden sharing this simple moment together.
"So," he began, leaning back in his chair, looking at you like he was trying to read you. "What's been the highlight of your week?"
You smiled, thinking about the usual routine of work and errands. But then you remembered tonight, and everything clicked into place.
"I think it's this," you said softly, meeting his gaze. "Getting to hang out with you."
Jaden's eyes softened, and he leaned forward slightly, as if he couldn't quite believe what you said. "Really? I'm flattered. Honestly, I was thinking the same thing."
There was a pause as you both shared that look—something that felt like it transcended words.
The waiter came by, and you both placed your orders: a simple coffee for you, and a hot chocolate for him, because you knew he always went for something a little sweeter.
As you sipped your drinks, the conversation flowed easily. You talked about music, shared funny stories about your childhoods, and even touched on your favorite movies (which, to your surprise, you both loved). It was like you'd known each other forever, even though this was just the beginning.
Eventually, Jaden looked at you with that familiar mischievous glint in his eyes. "So... when's the next concert?"
You laughed, a little nervous, but he was clearly joking. "I don't know if I could survive another show with you on stage," you teased.
"Oh, c'mon, I'm not that bad!" He grinned playfully. "But seriously, you should come to the next one. I'll save you a spot in the front row."
You raised an eyebrow. "And what do I get in exchange?"
Ill give you a free a hoodie but I listen I really have to go the guys are going to be waiting for me just make sure you text me here. "310-429-6797"
Without anytime to respond her ran out the door as the bells ring back and forth on the door I can't believe that something like this could happen to a normal girl like me.
I lay in my hotel bed waiting for a response. Never receiving I go get some soda downstairs and chips. I lay all night watching crappy tv in hotel until I fall asleep still never receiving not one text. I pack my stuff and leave the hotel getting on my bus which was miles walk down.
