A silent, moonlight night. All the planets happen to be sleeping soundly for once in this.. household.
But of course, that was before Neptune had woken up.
Neptune's eyes fluttered open before he abruptly jolted up. A small, silent yet audible gasp. His eyes widened, tears forming. He brought his hands up to his face, a small grumble as he violently shook. He'd been sick for the past week, and nothing seemed to work anymore. After a minute, he slid the blanket off him, moving to sit at the edge of the bed.
The clock ticked. Over, And over again. It was never ending.
Uranus groaned as he was brought awake by the disturbed Neptune sitting at the edge of his bed across the room. He then moved up slightly, looking at him with concern.
"Mate? What are you doing awake? It's 2:00 in the morning.." Uranus' voice was hoarse, obviously ticked off from being awaken so early. There was no answer from Neptune.
Suddenl6, Neptune stood up, his form almost falling over from getting up quite quickly. A almost silent, weak voice from him.
"I'm getting a drink.."
Uranus looked completely and utterly confused. Before a small, not so noticable nod. He was too tired to deal with this all. He just lied his head back down on his pillow, falling back asleep.
Meanwhile, Neptune walked slowly towards the door, taking a small glance to the shelf next to the door. With his headphones that had been resting on the shelf. He stared at it blankly for a few minutes, before grabbing them and putting them on. Neptune grabbed his phone that was conveniently, sat right beside the headphones position. Putting some music on, he walked out of the dim lighted, comfy room.
Tiredly, he walked down the oddly long hallway. Everything went blurry. Distorted even. But he kept walking, his tail dragging against the cold, hard floor. Neptune never liked the dark one singular bit.
As he made it to the kitchen, he noticed a bag on the desk. ah. That must be his medicine. He must have not put it away after buying it. His feet ground quietly as he tread lightlt to the bag. Grabbing out the medicine bottle, he looked at the back of it, reading the instructions. His eyesight was too bad to even directlt be able to read a singular word from it.
He just sighed, grabbing out one of the pills and then shoving it into his throat, swallowing it. He groaned, it tasted absolutely vile.
He put the cap back on, throwing it back into the bag and turning back around.
As he walked down the hallway, everything suddenly went distorted again. This time, he froze in his tracks. Almost passing out from the sudden dizziness. This is way worse then before.
"..Gosh." He quietly whispered to himself, before waiting for it to be over.
Once it was over, he continued walking to his and Uranus's room, twisting the door knob and opening the door to the room.
He then placed his phone and headphones back, flopping onto his bed and passing out.
