Lover's Pov:

My eyes fluttered open slowly, and I yawned and turned to my side, expecting the unbelievably tall girl to be lying next to me; plot twist, she wasn't.
My brows furrowed as I pulled myself up to a sit, glancing around the dark room. Her phone was on the nightstand, plugged in with the charger she had grabbed the other night.

I got up quietly, blinking a bit and walking out of the room, fidgeting with my fingers.

What if she left me?

I glanced around the hallway, to no avail, so I went downstairs and entered my kitchen, flinching as I got shot with a nerf gun bullet.

My head shot to the right, to see Speak Now clutching a nerf gun. She grimaced, peeking her head out from the corner. "Uh— sorry, I thought you were Rep. We're—" she started, getting cut off by a bullet hitting her head.

"I win, motherfucker!" A voice called out, my favorite voice.

Rep came around the corner, holding an L sign out as she walked by. She paused when she saw me. "Oh, hi, did we wake you up?" She asked, walking towards me and shoving Speak away.

"No. Just didn't know where you were, sorry," I replied with a shy smile.

"It's fine, don't apologize," she said.

I squeaked as I felt myself get lifted into the air, and I clutched onto Rep's shoulders and leaned on her. I got carried over to the couch and placed down, so I melted into the cushions and my girl's side.

"Stay here, I'll be right back," Rep instructed, gently squeezing my side before getting up and walking into the kitchen.

I sighed and watched with kicked puppy eyes as she left, which faded as she came back carrying two plates. They contained an omelet each, which would've seemed simple— but when you have a mind like mine, it's not about the egg. It's about the oil it was cooked in, the salt in it, whatever toppings the cook sprinkled on them.

I could feel my heartbeat speed up in my chest as my mouth went dry. I glanced away from the plate and back up at Rep's face, who gave me a little smile. I gulped, immediately leaning into her as she sat down next to me.

"Um, y-you don't have to eat it all, just... just a bite o-or two is... fine..." Rep stammered awkwardly as I looked up at her, my chin resting on her shoulder as my wide blue eyes locked with her green ones.

"Stop... distracting me..." Rep swallowed, her gaze flickering across my face, occasionally focusing on my lips.

I laughed, moving my chin and head off her shoulder and grabbing the plate. I cut the pieces off, trying to delay eating as much as I could.

I gasped as I felt my head getting pulled towards the taller girl, then said girl's lips on mine. I smiled a little, kissing back until she pulled away, then I looked up at her, pleased, yet confused.

"Sorry. You looked cute. And pretty." Rep mumbled, her cheeks flecking with a light pink as she awkwardly took a bite of the egg.

I giggled, leaning on her shoulder, and taking a bite of what was in front of me, not realizing what I had done as I started to chew. I saw Rep's eyes on me, slightly surprised, and then, I froze.

Wait, Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no. No. No—

"Lover," the voice interrupted my thoughts, luring me back into the real world.
