Each of the 5 of them have gone their own ways, successful in their own right. They buried their haunting past from their dark experiences in youth. All until an unlikely story land on them all at once. Each of them lured back to the town of their c...
Mona Vanderwaal. The pariah. The leader. The person who really started it all. Responsible for so much damage, especially her own. She is truly a talented liar. She didn't realize coming back into Rosewood after all the time would be so nerve racking. Maybe she did know. She being such a talented liar also had a certain ability to blend, mask, act natural. Even in the most nerve racking of moments Mona worked under pressure. She believed at times she does better work under immense pressure than if the load is light.
But even she could admit. Only to herself. She is like everyone else and has a limit.
Returning to Rosewood was less choice & more necessity. Mona was an only child & the untimely death of her parents during a vacation abroad brought Mona home to plan a funeral and handle affairs. Even after all the time and change Rosewood brought some of the worst out of her.
Leaving Rosewood was rushed for Mona, it is no secret that Mona Vanderwaal is a downright lunatic. She left Rosewood on a whim, not really knowing if her plan would work but arriving to ship two well known criminals in a boat. Prepping them for their trip was simple enough, considering it was all laid out for her.
They had been all caged & ready in the hub of the boat before she arrived. She hadn't quite been sure what she was walking in to that day. It was simply an anonymous letter with an invitation & a location. To be a surprise a locked set of cells & two sleeping "escapee's". A letter with instructions, a passport, a new identity and a map of the layout of a doll shop & a built in doll house.
"In the box is everything you'll need" Obviously Mona loves a good game & whatever this game was Mona wanted to win. -
Mona's last night in Rosewood she spent having dinner with her parents. On the night she first arrives she is in their family home alone and all of her secrets felt like they may have been catching up with her.
Planning a funeral is busy work. Not enough time for crying and she was almost so busy she didn't even notice the flowers on her doorstep the first couple days but after the 3rd day there was a camera, the camera caught the person who brought the flowers but it was the last day she got flowers and notes sent to brighten her dAy.
