"Huff... Huff.. I'm late..!" Valerie mutters to herself as she dashed through the main street with a cup of coffee in her hand. It is her first day of a new semester at her college and yet, she will be late. The sound of the buzzing notification from her phone inside her pocket startled her for a moment before she starts slowing down and just walks.

She grabs her phone and checks the notification. Surprisingly, it was her friend, texting and asking her when she will arrive. As she was about to tap on the screen, a hand reached out behind her and grabbed her arm, pulling her from behind.

A truck screeched on the road as the guy pulls her away. Valerie's jaw drops in shock and tilts her head up to look at her saviour. She didn't had a good look on his face, but his glasses made him looked like he stands out. He had a concerned look on his face, furrowing his eyebrows as his hand gripped her arm tightly and his other hand guarding her drink. He looked... Irritated.

As she stares at him, she was about to speak up but got interrupted by the truck driver getting furious and yelling at her for walking on the road on a red light. She had just realized that she was crossing the bounds.

"Ah, I'm sorry." she says as she turns to the truck driver and bows. She turns around to thank the guy but he was already gone. She scratches her head, who was that...?

He looked... Oddly familiar for no reason.
