"The history of the internet..."

Seriously, this subject is so boring.

I wander my eyes around while half-listening to the presentation report of my classmates. Some students are visibly dozing off, completely ignoring what's happening. As I observe more, one of my classmates—or my seatmate to be exact—notices me and whispers something.

"Psst, nadownload mo na ba yung trending na app?" they ask. I tilt my head, indicating I have no idea what they're talking about.

"Perfect for you since wala ka pang jowa... unless may nilo-lowkey ka?" Their eyes glimmer mischievously as they smirk, na para bang nanunukso.

"What's the name?" I write on a piece of paper, careful not to get caught talking.

"Invenire—sounds cool, right?" They grin, pulling out their phone.

Hmm, "Invenire"? As far as I remember, it's a Latin word for "find." The devs must be language geeks or something. Nodding in agreement, I watch them busy themselves on their phone, sneaking glances at the teacher to avoid getting caught. Moments later, I feel a slight vibration in my pocket. Must be the notification that they've sent me the link.

Moments later the bell rings, marking the end of class, and the intercom chimes in:

[Good day Zarcusians! Time Check: it's 11:45 A.M. Eat well your lunch, students!]

At bago pa matapos ang announcement, my seatmate flees the room to join their friends, while I sit there waiting for the others to leave. I sigh, opening my blank notebook. They'll probably send the soft copy of the summarized report later. Scribbling aimlessly, I remember the app and take out my phone.
