Talia - Oh no , no .. it isn't for me at all..

Jackie - I know that look , you have a crush on this boy don't you ?

Talia - What !? A crush !? On him !? Oh , no , no , no. You've got the wrong idea... *sighs* I think we both know that's a lie.. Yea I do ..

Jackie - Does this boy like you back ?

Talia ( looks down ) - Sure doesn't seem like it.. I think he likes my friend Kate

Jackie - How long have you liked him if you don't mind me asking ?

Talia - No it's fine and since I was 9... I've liked him for about 5 years and he has no clue .. and I don't think he's interested in finding out. I mean the only reason me and him started talking again is because he needed help on a damn project... damn I'm stupid

Jackie ( puts her hand on Talia's shoulder ) - Now don't say that about yourself mija. You're not stupid.  You're just young and in love. You have your whole life ahead of you to find the one

Talia - The thing is.. I found him already..

Jackie - I'll tell you this. I'll give you a brand new guitar for $500 on Saturday instead of this old beat up one. Deal chica ?

Talia - Really !? Thanks !! , but hey umm do you know anyone who needs a part-time worker so you know I can get the money.. ha

Jackie - hmm I think the slaughter house down on 34th is looking for a cleaner , and farmer Joseph is looking for help too , try those two

Talia - Farmer Joseph .. isn't he located waaaay out of Manhattan !?

Jackie - Bueno noches carino

" I had to maneuver around so that Talia wouldn't see me. After she walked out of the store I tried to exit to , but I accidently knocked over something and Jackie spotted me. She called me over.."

Jackie - Ummm who are you ?

Issac - Oh I was just looking for something

Jackie - Looking for ??

Issac - Ummmm , oh look at the time. I have to um go

"I left the store and saw Kate and Talia waiting at the corner of 22nd and 24th. They were talking , So I ran and caught up to them"

Kate - Did you find it ?

Issac - Find what ?

Kate - The thing you lost ?

Talia - Huh , You lost something ?

Issac - What I didn't lose... OH YEA . That , yea I found it

Kate - What was it?

Issac - My appetite , I'm starving. You guys wanna grab a bite to eat ?

Kate -  Sure !

Talia - Um actually I have to run to the slaughter house .. I mean to the market and pick up some Pocky and Ramen for dinner tonight

Kate - Pocky ?

Talia - yea , It's Asian food , you don't know about it

Issac - But what about the project ?

Talia - Yea , I'm super sorry , ummm tomorrow ?

Issac - Yea.. sure

Talia - And next time , no company okay ?

Kate - Wait why not ?

Talia - Because he has to focus. I doubt he can with you all over him

Issac - Good point. Okay fine , just us two

Talia - Okay , well see you guys later I guess

Issac and Kate - Yea , See ya

" She didn't know that I knew.. I just watched her walk away . I grabbed Kate and walked with her to McDonald's and grabbed a bite to eat... then entire time with Talia on my mind. Like why was she so good to me ? After I ignored her for 5 years .. after I only talked to her because I needed something ? Does she really love me for real ? These questions ate my alive.. Kate and I finished and I walked her home. She tried to kiss me on my cheek , but I just gave her a hug and went home. When I got home I noticed my dad had gotten a haircut due to his male pattern baldness I guess. Anyway he had a very noticeable scar on the back of his head . I never seen it there before . I just assumed he always had it and went to my room.. the day went past and not one phone call from Talia. I called her , but no answer. I knew she was at the slaughter house trying o convince them to let her work there , but I called her anyway and got no response evertime. Eventually I just took out my notepad and started writing.. the only word I can think of was Her.."
