A YAWN ESCPAED THE brown girls lips as she gently rubbed her eyelids. She was once again up all night, but this time it wasn't because of work. She couldn't stop thinking about the tall brown haired male she had met yet again. The sound of his deep voice rang through her ears.
She sighed and fixed her posture as she adjusted her bag on her arm. She stepped out of the elevator and tidied up her slicked back hair and made her way to her bosses office where Oikawa stood as well. Both their faces had a hint of anger.
Soleil opened the door and gently closed it, she glanced out the big glass window and at her other co-workers who were being nosy but pretended to do their work. Oikawa faked a cough and folded his arms.
"You needed me, Sir?" Her voice was low.
"Yes in fact I did. I found this," he pointed towards a stack of papers with a sticky note, "and I find it very hard to believe that Oikawa would dump a load of work on you."
She lifted her brow and side eyed the older male who had a faint smug smirk on his face. "Well, believe it," She shrugged.
Her bosses face morphed into irritation, "how can I? Oikawa is our loyalest and hardest worker!"
Oikawa nodded along with his boss, "It kind of hurts me that you would think otherwise of me, Karasuyo." their boss says again.
She turned her head to the side a bit and covered her mouth, her body shook a bit as if she had started crying.
Her boss rolled his eyes, "You're playing the vic—"
Soleil bursted out into a fit of laughter. She laughed so hard that she held her stomach and fell against a chair as she held her head with one hand. "You all are killing me! Oikawa and hard working should never go in the same sentence!"
They both stared at her.
She stopped laughing and looked at them as she placed her hands on her hips, "Oh come on!"
"KARASUYO!" The oldest man slammed his hands on his desk, "You could lose your job for defamation!"
"Well then let me do it for ya, I QUIT DAMMIT!" She yelled as she threw her fake pair of glasses on the ground.
"Fuck you," she pointed at Oikawa, "Fuck this office, and fuck this dirty ass company that's definitely gonna tank in a few months, WITHOUT ME! I did all y'all's work around here, ME!"
She smoothed her hair back and sighed, "I'm rich anyways, I don't need this."
With that, Soleil slammed the office door shut and walked off. But she quickly returned and peaked in, "Also, Oikawa got your wife pregnant, xoxo!" She blew a kiss towards the two and quickly left.
Without looking back she quickly got into her car and sped down the streets of Hyogo. She whipped her shades out and blasted Tyler The Creator.
"Free will... where should I go?" She asked herself aloud as she let the windows down. What a great day to quit.

Soleil sat down on a bench eating an ice cream. She watched as people passed her, students, parents, workers, everyone. She leaned back and crossed her arms and gently closed her eyes.
"HEY, HEY, HEY!"
She'd know that booming voice anywhere, "Bokuto?"
"Lei!!" He excitedly said and picked her up from her spot on the bench giving her a tight hug.
She cringed at his strength but pat his back as reciprocation.
"What are you doing here? Thought you had work?" He asked and took a seat beside her.
The curly head glanced over at him and shrugged, "I got bored."
Bokuto nodded, "Hm, sounds like you, I'm glad you didn't get angry and do other stuff like beating someone."
She turned away from him and looked at the sky, "Nope, i'm a retired crash out, man." She held up the peace sigh and opened her mouth to stick her tongue out.
Her body suddenly jolted when she felt a cold substance hit her tongue, "What the fu—"
"Akaashi! You caught up!" Bokuto realized and jumped up throwing an arm around the male.
"Akaashi...?"
He nodded his head, "Yeah?"
How dare he? Act like nothing happened between them all those years ago. Did he even remember the fight they had, he didn't even bother contacting her either!
"What did you put on my tongue?"
"My tip."
"Haha, very funny."
"I didn't laugh."
Bokuto then let out a small yelp in excitement causing the two to turn their heads and look at him.
"We should go out drinking, what do you guys think!? Bestfriend squad??" He held out both his pinter fingers excitedly.
Soleil just grabbed his and shook her head sadly as she stood up, "We aren't best friends." she then began walking away causing Bokuto to huff, "Text me later!"
All by herself again. But she wanted this, or did she? She quit her job, now she had nothing to do with her time. Maybe she should have went drinking with them. She turned back around hoping to see their faces but was instead met with fox like eyes and brown hair.
She slowly lifted her head up and bit her cheeks to keep from smiling.
"Why do I keep running into you all of a sudden?" Suna asked a bit annoyed.
"I don't know? Maybe it's fate?" She teased as she got a bit closer to him.
He sighed and pushed her face away gently. "Then that's one twisted fate." He then proceeded to look around and then back at her and her attire.
"Are you getting off of work recently or...?"
"Oh, this?" She looked down at her attire and then smiled innocently, "I quit."
His eyes widened, "What? You can't just go and quit like that!?" He grabbed her shoulder me and shook her, "what kind of an adult are you."
"One with free will." She held up a peace sign.
He groaned, "How are you gonna pay off your car?" he asked in a bit of worry.
Soleil quirked up a brow at his querie and placed her hands on her hips, "I paid my car in full when I first got it."
"Okay, your penthouse?"
"Was given to me in my mother's will."
"Your mother's wi—" he stopped himself, "I'm sorry, i didn't know your mother..."
She placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder, "Yo, it's cool, her time was up..even though she was taken from me and Kehndal so soon, she in a better place now."
"Kehndal?" He tilted his head to which she thought was cute and giggled at.
"My dumbass brother," She cut herself off before she could say more.
"I see."
A bit of silence.
"Can we go drinking together?" Suna asked quietly.
"Expensive?"
"I don't do cheap shit."
