Juliette sighed,sitting on her bed.Another unfortunate marriage,just to think she was starting to gain some hope.. But no,all men are the same,once they get bored of you,they replace you,like you never meant anything to them.

She had to admit, being a royal wasn't too bad at first glance..But the stress,the overwhelming feeling that you know your not more than just a childmaker in your own family was disgustingly obvious
She stood up,walking over to one of the windows and pulling the curtain away,she sighed,looking down at the garden which she could clearly see from her bedroom window
Then she froze,realizing something..Why couldn't she run away? If she did..They would have no one to marry off,so her pathetic excuses of brothers would have to be forced into a marriage.That brought a slight smile on her face.
She thought about it carefully,where would she even go? The town was too dangerous,there was a high risk someone,a knight,a salesman,or anyone else noticing her.
Her family,the de vantra family,was known for their long silver hair,except for their mother of course, and their golden,yellow eyes that seem to stare into your soul whenever you talked.They weren't really wrong,her brothers had a habit of scaring people by staring into them.And for dad..It wasn't a habit,it was something he did naturally.Her mom..She felt like rolling eyes whenever she thought about her

With a deep sigh,she made up her final decision, thinking to herself "I'd rather be burnt alive or die in that gosh darn forest rather than live a life with my every step being commanded by..someone else." And with that,she made a rope out of her old clothes and climbed down the window.
