Hearing my com beeping as it alerted me that someone was trying to contact me, I looked at it as I pressed on the button to see who was contacting me, when I saw the name of the caller, I felt myself tense up. 'Why is he contacting me?' I thought to myself as I hesitated for a moment before I accepted the call.
"...Megatron...why are you contacting me?" I spoke into the com device and waited quietly for a response. For a few minutes nothing happened only silence, I stared at the communication device frowning slightly as I waited for another moment, then his voice came over the com.
"Optimus...I didn't think you'd answer..." I went silent for a moment not expecting him to say something, then I responded back. ".... neither did I... but that's not the point.... why are you calling me?" There was silence for a few minutes over the com until he answered. ".... I'm calling you because I want to change ...I plan to leave the Decepticons and join you on your side..." I frowned, staring at the com device going silent for a few minutes before I responded. "...you want to join the Autobots?..." I waited quietly for his answer, thinking to myself 'Is he actually telling me the truth?or is this a lie...?' His voice came over the com almost making me hang up on the call. "Yes...I want to join you and your Autobots...if you'll let me..." I went silent again staring at the com in my hand. I didn't expect him to contact me asking to join the Autobots, I sighed responding back to him over the com. "I'm giving you one chance...don't make me regret it." I waited silently for a response. His answer came over the com once again "...I won't make you regret it..." I didn't know what to say to that, so I stayed quiet for another moment. "Do i need to come and get you?" I said into the com. It was silent for a moment over both ends of the com as I waited. Eventually he answered. "...No... I will meet you at these coordinates..." I frowned about to ask where he wanted us to meet when my com received a series of beeps as I looked at the device noticing that a series of coordinates had been sent, I looked at the location of the coordinates for a moment, wondering if this was a trap. I spoke into the com after a moment. "...alright..." I waited for him to say something else, but he didn't. Once again silence fell over the call, and I sighed about to hang up when he spoke up. "....and Prime?" I looked at the com for a moment before answering. "...Yes?..." Megatron must've gone quiet over the other line of the call though he spoke up again. "...I'd prefer it if you came alone..." I frowned, staring at the com for a moment about to respond when he hung up. I stared at the device in silence for what felt like hours until I sighed, standing up in my quarters (room) at the Autobot base. I waited until the other Autobots were asleep or recharging in their rooms before leaving the base and transforming into my vehicle mode as I drove towards the location of the coordinates Megatron had sent me. While I drove towards his location, I thought over what he'd said over the com about wanting to 'change' and leave the Decepticons. Somewhere deep down I knew this might be a trap, but I couldn't turn back now.
